Keep that Mini Cooper lower radiator hose off the ground! [EASY]

Thanks for posting this! Just rescued our eldest daughter off the side of the road, this happened to her mini cooper today. Your video gave me a great insight to what had happened and how to prevent it when installing the replacement hose.

You are absolutely correct! I was under the car tonight. My girlfriend hit a huge deep puddle and it tore away something in the front that was dragging. Piece of some kind of trim. That's how I got here from a Google sesrch. Trying to figure out what it is so I can order it. Anyway I saw the radiator hose just sagging there and thought the same thing as you.

I noticed the same thing on my 2013 R56. Those clips aren't strong enough to secure the radiator hose. My hose sags quite a bit.

Any idea how to replace that hose? I found out the hard way this morning that that little bracket broke and my hose drug the ground and got a hole in it. 😩

Yes I do know how to replace the hose however I don't have a video for you to see. I'm sure if you search you'll find hundreds of videos on how to replace radiator hoses. Just make sure you properly bleed the coolant system after you're done refilling in some people miss that and cause problems

my engine overheated and shut off on me. Come to find out that the heater hose came lose from the clamps and came in contact with the pavement and burst open. ALL BAD....

i love how they look i love how they handle.... everything else the germans did to this car is terrible. what happened to the germans? they used to make good cars.
