Yes but anime episode 1000 it's not gonna be = to chapter 1000 of the manga since the anime in Wano almost never adapts a full chapter or its equivalent in an anime episode. In fact very likely the manga readers alredy have read the content episode 1000 of the anime is gonna cover.

this episode was one of those instances where the overall slower pace of the anime really pays off imo. While you still get some of the emotional weight in the manga, it really was more pronounced here with the visuals and music, at least I think so.

fun fact!: This episode is based on the first half of chapter 950 so it's 950 both in anime AND manga (and yeah first HALF and next week seems to be expansion on the second half. guess that's what you can expect when you only have a 45 chapter buffer between manga and anime)

Zoro in the manga for Wano has twice screen time than the 3erd character with most screen time and the anime in his extended and added scenes give a lot of extra screen time to Zoro compared to others so i don't know were the problem is. Obviously Luffy who is the protagonist is gonna have the most screen time.
