Maybe using a little WD-40 can make the drilling easier while keeping the drill bits cooler and lubed? Depending on the castings this is more or less of a problem. The Autolinea castings (which CB Performance uses) tend to be a little easier to clean than these. I wonder how the AA head castings are.

@vayabroder729 I got these heads from a FB seller that sold me a boat anchor engine....they are used and from what I have read, the MOFOCO guy has improved his product. IDK it that is true or not... I really don't know anything about them, and I have not even run these heads yet, so we will see how they perform now that I completely reworked them.

I still have a set of brand new mofoco heads i bought 12 years ago and of course a couple years ago I read about people having the seats fall out or bad guides. Hopefully I've got a good set! 🤣
