Great tip Jon! Warm decal water has really helped with my long decal sessions (like any Ver.Ka Gundam with over 400 of the little guys). Since you mentioned "ask me how I know this"...I've made a small base for underneath all of the coffee warmers I've ever used because they all get really hot underneath and ended up turning my self-healing cutting mat into a toasted marshmallow. Either a piece of scrap wood from the shop or a small piece of flat cork board from the wife's hobby room ;)

It works really well! Just don't drink the decal water! :)

I’ve also seen people use a tealight candle chimney for this. Good to know the brush tip too.

Yeah, I've seen that too. I felt this was a bit safer, and so easy to use. Plug it in, set the cup on it! Easy peasy! :) Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

I have one of those candle wax melter things that I keep my decal water warm in! It is a great tip!

It works great doesn't it? Thanks!

Yep, I use a mug warmer, too. I like to nuke the water to start, too, because it cools down quickly.

Happily the mug warmer I use keeps it quite warm - hotter than hot tap water. I just have to make sure I don't let it evaporate! :D
