Love your healthy tips. Please explain your followers to exhale during this exercise. Most People inhale while doing this exercise. Without exhalation there can never be a proper contraction of the pelvic floor. Also to advise to first pull the pelvic floor in and as second the transversus abdominis. Thanks a million Dr. Mandell. On the first day I did this exercise I experienced immediate improvement in my urine flow. Took a break for a couple days after initial start and urine slowed up again. Resumed the exercises and I can say it definitely is responsible for decreasing my prostate size and allowing better flow, even though I'm currently on no meds. Appreciate you tons.

Been having issues for 15 months. Can’t pass gas AT ALL. Can’t even poop. Doctors were clueless. I did research and asked about a pelvic floor mri. Found out these muscles aren’t working. I’m in more pain than you can imagine. Every. Single. Day.

This puts stress on the spinal cord. You are supposed to tilt the pelvic, imagine pointing you belly button toward the ceiling behind you.

Which doctor do you see for this? A urologist? I am on my 4th urologist. None of them can fix erectile dysfunction, testicle pain, hip tightness, increased veiny penis etc. I was wondering why I have hip tightness but only my right hip and Testicle pain and urine leakage?

This should pull the bladder muscles back too. Right? I am suffering with the cervix and bladder muscles beginning to relax a bit. Running to the bathroom often. Yet no other problems are present. My mom did this too after hysterectomy years later and had 2 slings placed. I never want to do that and exercise I believe is the best. Will this particular exercise help those muscles to strengthen? Dr maybe you can know whats wrong im not sure if it's pelvic floor dysfunction or IC or IBS. But I keep gettimg chronic UTI and it's a nightmare. I am not sexually active. Although im immunodeficient and have had 5x LETZ Dec will be a year of this matter. Antibiotics arent really workimg since it keeps comimg back. Its often the same germ Ecoli but my hygiene bathroom practices are on point. If you get this please can you answer. Thank you. I think you are the role model Dr. The kind people need deserve and want. Im seeing a Urologist now but the State medical care is bad so its been a month and they still haven't uploaded the Cystoscope. Oh and I have an OAB.
