Thats kind of you! I'm really happy that you find value in this stuff! It makes the time I put into the videos worth it when I know that they are helpful or enjoyed by someone! And that's right, it saves a lot of time to do things the correct way the first time! Thanks again for watching my friend!

Great info as usual. IMO, IF one can afford a bow press- get one. Learn to use it.. will save you trips to the local bow shop hoping they will do EVERYTHING CORRECTLY. Same thing with a draw board which nearly anyone? can build and a quality variable position bow holder. Yes, it's quite a bit of cash BUT you can become as OCD on bow build as you want. 👍👍

I thought it was from the back of the grip where the draw board hooks up plus a inch and 3/4

Hey man! So if you measure from the center point of your string at full draw to the front of your riser right above the shelf, that is the true draw length of the bow... at least on a mathews but I'm pretty sure everyone makes their risers the same width in that location so you can do you measurements that way If you want.

Why don't you just have a long string it Find the spec on your string that you like by measuring it at a 100 pounds AMO tell him that Get your holding weight where you like it and tell him the length of the cables they can build it to exactly that

@@AngusMoss_ArcheryI don’t think Gibsonlife understood what you were doing! lol So how did it turn out? I’m tuning my bow and having trouble. Just checked the specs and my axel to axel is 3/4 inch long. Do I twist my cables to fix that? It’s a Hoyt VTM 34
