Keeping dogs mentally stimulated but physically quiet during heartworm treatment

My dog just had his first Heartworms inj and when he came home, I read books to him just got him in my lap and show him the picture of books and talked to him. Keeps him calm and focused.

Her mental powers over dog psychology is scary. Like, do school teachers do these tricks on us to behave a certain way? I think so!
