Good to see rivnuts in use - I’m amazed they aren’t used more on boats especially for attaching fittings to masts and booms.

Ideal for fibreglass! I have used them on a mast before. Only problem is the difference in material.

Your making a great job Alex. have you considered using galvanized tray to run your cables on? I think it would make the job smarter again!

It’s your boat, your systems make it what makes sense to you but keep heat sealed copies of what you have done plus copies on your hard drive etc.

Nice work! Is the Lithium compatible with the outboard charging?
@AlexGoesSailing11 ай бұрын
Works fine as it’s controlled well. Still testing it out to see if I can find any short falls.

@@AlexGoesSailingI dont now if I am comfortable with lithium in a boat due to its explosive reactions I under stand that they are quite sealed but still sea water and lithium dont mix lol
@AlexGoesSailing11 ай бұрын
@@samfazers8818 so lithium ion batteries are the explosive kind that definitely shouldn’t be on a boat and has given lithium a bad name. The battery I’m using is a lithium phosphate which is much safer and I’d say that most boat lithiums are this type. The bms is super smart too so I have no worries. Thanks Chris!
