We travel with a Mini Aussie and Beagle in our Class A. Same philosophy…if they can’t go we don’t go. We also feed Fromm’s mixed with Dr. Marty’s freezer dried (made in Canada👍). And we use martingale collars from Orvis with their name and phone number embroidered into the collar. I can tell you love your dogs as much we do! 💖🐶🐶💖

So nice to see that you and Patty are such great puppy parents. We have always camped with our dogs, usually Labradors. As I was growing up we used pop ups and I often sat outside with my dog if everyone else was in a museum. Now (last 3 Labs) my boy is a service dog so he comes with me everywhere.

Great a video. We do a lot of the same stuff. We also love having an RV so our dogs are always welcome. Hotels are 50/50 at best. Also I like the lazy Susan design of dog bowl better than our pull out version.

Lots a great information Patrick. Will look into the waggle for sure (we travel with 3 fur babies)as we’re about to embark on our trip westward from Deep South Texas. Finally retiring and am soooooo looking forward to it. Till we meet “on down the road “ safe travels you both (plus the pups). Arnold and Josie

We will have three golden retrievers to camp with. Currently a 7 year old and a 2 year old. New puppy coming next week. We have a seasonal site and also travel. May look at the Waggle. Thanks for the info.

I currently travel with 4 dogs (2 collies and 2 shelties). I have the same fifth wheel as you. They ride in crates in the backseat of my truck except the old collie who has to ride upfront (air bag turned off). I keep water bowl under table on puppy pads since my young collie is a sloppy drinker. Unless I am just making a short trip for gas or groceries the dogs always go with me. The short time I am gone I leave the TV on and shades down, air conditioner on.

We have birds, neighbors cat, deer, turkey, a turtle, armadillo, racoon a black snake that visit our back yard. They take care of themselves. However, we have 4 grandchildren we help with and treat them like gold, so no time for any more fur babies 😅

Mittens HATES her crate, but settles down nicely on the couch. We keep shades down, and lights off, and use Waggle. So far, she's been fine, but we don't leave her often. Not sure how to handle wanting to go somewhere where dogs aren't allowed and it requires more time than an hour or so, because she's not good in boarding situations with other dogs. Something to figure out --what do you do?

Do you have a portable fence to put outside when you go camping? I just bought a 45" high fence because I'm tired of the leash. And some rv campgrounds don't have a dog park. This way Blue our huskie can go in or out of the camper as he pleases. I bought 48 fences so depending on the site will depend on how many I take. Some campgrounds don't alow fences but most do. I also fence the backyard at home and leave the rest home.

Thanks for the tips. We use FROMM also. But aside from that we were wondering what you use for wifi in your RV. We plan on spending the winter at fisherman's Cove in Tavares and I know you stayed there. We just changed provider and went to T mobile. Changed phones and home internet. And we did ask about rv mobile but it's like $160 a month witch were paying at home with the phones . We paid my wife's phone off and got me S 24 and they gave us a tablet and internet. So wondering what you have for the rv road. Thank you!

How did you secure the crate? Would it move when you are in transit?
