So many things I like as a Big Guy (6'8"/350#) prospective RVer. 3 main things (the first two are the biggest) that give me pause: 1. There appears to be zero kitchen prep area without working on stove and sink covers. The built-in countertop seems to be only in the back corner between the stove & sink and that small weak pullout on the right side. 2. The chaise lounge sofa. The foot section sticks out in the walkway. Why not just make it a standard sofa with a detached ottoman? Or, a theater seat/regular sofa option? 3. The radius shower. I guess if I'm in a campground I'll use the public showers and if I'm boo docking, I'll install an outdoor shower if one doesn't already exist.

1) Makes for a perfect weekend fishing camper for a single person or a get away from the spouse camper 😂 2) Will they also fix the door trim after your oopsydaisy? 3) They should’ve added coat hooks in the pantrytainment center. 4) Agreed on the free floating table. 5) 3rd door 👍 6) Perhaps they should have gone with a different awning supplier? Agreed, should’ve been longer. 7) Can all campers take those new straight fold down entry handles without having separate holes in the sides? They look so much more functional and kid mischief proof. 8) I would guess a middle of the night Cracker Barrel layover parked in the back that it would be ok to put out the slides and use the restroom. 9) I felt like the video was addressed specifically for me with the late model towing reference. Are you trying to get me to buy this unit? 😂 10 - 37) Nicely done on the video. 👍

Shopping for #5 now, and I won’t even look at a Travel Trailer that does not have a FULL outdoor kitchen. Speed Stick, by Mennen. It was a deodorant commercial. This RV would be great if it had a spot for a desk and perhaps a better shower. While I get the appeal of the camp kitchen, I think for this model specifically it would have been better with the extra bathroom space instead. That way the toilet could be where the shower is currently and the shower could be where the camp kitchen is occupying. Heck, they could even still put in a small fridge or cooktop with an indented space for a molded shower seat sort of like a wet bath kind of feel - effectively "sitting on the fridge", so to speak. Thanks for the video, Uncle Josh!

Since you asked - nothing about this camper appealed to me except the size & weight for 1/2 ton towable. No access to the bathroom in travel mode is a deal breaker. Seems like wasted space where the frig is pushed to the back of the slide (bring forward & have outside accessible storage?). Don't see the purpose of the chaise lounge sofa. No solar at all is a deal breaker. Don't like the radius shower (but that's something I'll probably end up with when/if I do get a camper). I do appreciate your reviews - full of good information about what to look for. Thanks.

Regarding outside kitchens: It was not something I wanted. I actually would have probably passed on it if I had the option of buying my same trailer (Avenger 26BK) with just storage there. I really like the outside kitchen. We keep the outside fridge full of water bottles and a few sodas. The sink is handy, but I dislike that my sink is awkward to use. I usually don't use my stove. Instead I set up a blackstone next to it and use the propane quick connect. So if I had a griddle and could reach my sink easier, it would be perfect. I also found I can use my Eco flow battery with built in inverter to keep the mini fridge cold on long driving days.

Josh, I have never seen a trailer before that has 2k lbs CC ability, the storage to fit it in and firmly half ton towable. Great trailer for someone who travels alone for work. I like the sofa/chaise lounge, Beer fridge (though I think they could have found one that occupies the space better), 26 feet with 2 A/C's would be comfortable in any environment. It has just enough window coverage/ambient light, not too much to make it difficult to heat or cool. Windows in an RV can be uncomfortable to sit or sleep by in extreme temperatures. I could do with out one over my head in bed and would prefer a queen sized bed with closets that were 5" wider on either side.. All in all, This is a cool Travel Trailer.

I like this. I have a Jayco 22rb ...very similar, but that KING BED in the Sunset, here? Yup, I'm JELLY! As far as camp kitchen. I need a little outdoor fridge to hold the 'quick grab' beverages and items that are used for drinks, like lemons/limes, etc. My camper doesn't have space enough for a blender, so we set up a table next to the 'camp kitchen.' I would appreciate a little sink for rinsing sticky hands, etc, but the outside shower on my model isn't too far around the corner for that purpose. I am very used to having a dedicated space outside for table cloths and other grill utensils, etc. The drawer next to my fridge is BIG and really fits a lot. So yes, I would prefer any type camp kitchen that offers some storage and function. It helps to keep you from having to constantly run up, inside the camper. The cable slide is a deal breaker for me...too bad because this is a cute camper. If Jayco would only make their 22rb with a TRUE king bed! I'd trade mine tomorrow!

Bedroom pretty good, night stands and usable outlets, but wish the under bed had a bit more dresser type storage. Bathroom storage awesome, can probably live with the shower. Kitchen counter space a little short, no trash is a miss. Coming in to the travel mode is the fail. At ~27 feet if they could add a couple feet for kitchen counter and trash cabinet, take the fridge out of the slide to shorten the slide you might be able to get bathroom access. Tagged at the plate instead of in the park home run. Needs a hitch for bike rack. My wife gives the 2nd air capable a big thumbs up!

@@JoshtheRVNerd I think the radius shower makes the bathroom look tiny. The kitchen sink is so big it goes past the corner and into the stove area and the work area for the stove is tiny. I do not like a unit with a front window (I have one and I hate it, LOL) I am also not crazy about the front wall fake marble Formica, it looks cheap, like a bad kitchen counter. I do like the couch with the chase and the large pantry. They could size that down a little and give the space back to the main room, then it would not cut into the kitchen space as bad. I also think they should include a "free floating" table instead of the one connected to the couch. All of this is just my opinion, obviously. You are doing a great job and keep up the good work.
