Every thing about this video is perfect. Thank you! Your personality, the dog barking at the vegetable pour (my dog to a T) the simplicity of the recipe, the issues needing to grind the salt and pepper but having messy hands… ALEXA NOT ACTING RIGHT! Lmaoo JUST LIKE HOME 😂❤

Love your recipes. However, although I ALWAYS eat my beef medium/medium rare, I prefer my pot roast to be falling apart tender. Using the roaster oven I add TWO roasts and tons of veggies so that after everyone eats I can use the leftovers(right in the roaster) to make a huge amount of beef veggie soup for freezing for the fall/winter season. I add more broth, a huge can of V8, cans of drained corn and green beans, chopped cabbage and more potatoes, of course! I then portion it and freeze! The best soup ever. Thanks for your roaster oven recipes, I love them.

Mouthwatering delicious! For everything you used in this video (3lb pot roast) how many will this serve? Thank you!
@KeepingitRealintheKitchen4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I would say approximately 4-6. 4 people with a very generous serving amount and 6 normal servings :)

I'd like to cook a 7lb boneless pork shoulder butt in the electric roaster - and unsure how long and what temperature. This is to make pulled pork.

Hi! Thanks for watching. Sorry to say I haven't yet made that in the roaster but I'm sure it would cook great. I found this recipe on line and it should help. Here's the link leitesculinaria.com/100088/recipes-roast-pork-butt.html It has the proper temp and some great tips. I hope it turns out great!

Hello, could you explain to me why the oven has two trays and what is the function, is that I have it but when I put one of the trays it no longer came out and I don't know if I should use it with that one alone or put both. Thanks in advance.
@katherinetorres6463 жыл бұрын
Excuse me if I did not know how to explain it well, it is that I use the translator because I speak only Spanish.
@shannonfry65322 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about the large insert pan? Never put good directly into the roaster without the insert pan. The small metal tray is optional to lift foods.

Did you wash the meat first? 😬
@shannonfry65322 жыл бұрын
CDC recommends NOT washing meat before cooking now. They say it can spread MORE germs around sink, kitchen, etc than cooking off any bacteria by not washing.

My roast is almost 6 lbs do you think 3 hours
@KeepingitRealintheKitchen4 жыл бұрын
Honestly it may cook a little faster, then that. If you like yours at a medium rare, like mine was, I would check it at the 2/2.5 hour mark. I would hate for it to dry out on you. If you cut it open and check it and it's not done you can always let it cook more. I hope it turns out great!

So 9-10 lbs roast beef will take 5 hrs to cook at 325? What the temperature to check if it’s fully cook? Well done…
