Walt Disney made the best movies!! They will never be forgotten and hopefully new generations will enjoy them!! They don't need to be updated or remade!!
@bhd77215 ай бұрын
But why reboot those Disney's classic? To me classic are better especially the Parent Trap no offense to Linsney Lohan but Hayley Miles verson of Sharon and Susan was better than Linsney Lohan's version of Hayley and Anne. In Hayley Miles version Susan cut Sharon's hair short while Linsney's version Ann cut Hayley's hair into a shoulder lint, Sharon and Susan wasn't friends with the Butler or the maid whomever Linsney's version Hayley and Ann was. Sharon's mother wasn't a Wedding designer but her character was something like Mrs Banks from Mary Poppins. Susan's father didn't make wine but worked on a ranch. Sharon and Susan performed Let's get together for their parents while Ann humid the song. Susan had a German Shepherd. While Ann had a Punky Brewster dog Brandon like . So yes Hayley Miles version was better

One of my favorite movies of all-- "Pollyanna." I used to say it was "my favorite Disney movie," and it is. But as time goes on, the older i get (67 currently), the more i love that movie and treasure its goodness, its solid philosophy and youthful exuberance. It's just an all-around champion of all that makes a good movie-- acting, writing, directing, and above all, a genuinely good, timeless story and message. Hayley Mills can always be proud of her wonderful job she did as Pollyanna, and 'glad' for people's recognition of her. Another of my all-time favorite movies is hers, too-- "The Trouble with Angels." Congratulations, Hayley, on such a stellar career. You'll always be Pollyanna to me (and Susan, and Sharon, and Mary). 🥰

As a Boomer, Hayley Mills was an actress we admired beside Annette Funicello who we admired and wanted to follow her career and her mannerism. Besides Annette F., was in the Mickey Mouse Club which we watched each day during the week which was fun to watch what they did on that show from Disney.

My introduction to Hayley Mills in the pictures was Summer Magic, which I loved a lot. I was 12 years old when I saw it in the theater. I have never watched Pollyanna or Parent Trap. I just recently watched, for the first time, Trouble With Angels which has become one of my favorite movies. Not just of Hayley's movies but of my all time movies list. I love it and have watched it 8 times now and will watch it many more times. I also saw The Chalk Garden for the first time a few months ago and I really like that one too, but TWAngels is my favorite. I have always thought quite highly of Hayley Mills.

Hayley hope you & yours are all well. Been watching Kula Shaker, & Getting a major smile,.. Blue Eyes & Blonde hair flashing about the stage telling us not to to worry or dispaire but telling us the truth as well,.. If you can recover from anything,.. you need a grounding,.. something you can mentaly stand on,.. like the old days of love & what if's,.. we all have,.. & Disney Girls,.. In WWII they never ever labeled their bombers with something worth taking into battle,.. They'd rather die that way, if it meant anything to anybody.

Disney hit the jackpot when he found Haley Mills to play Pollyanna. I think if anyone else played that role, it may have come off cheesy. Haley was so sincere, you couldn't help falling in love with her & the movie.

Twice a year I subscribe to Disney plus specifically to watch this movie. I loved it as a child, and still love it now that I'm old. What a great job everyone did on this show, and I fell in love with Mills the first time I watched this. I only wish Disney would fix the pay Halley receives from this fine work. She deserves to be paid better than what Disney has given her considering how much they've made off this film. Shame on Disney!
