So I work at Medieval Times in Florida and we tend to get a lot of wrestlers visiting. Funny enough, back in 2015 the first two wrestlers I met were Drew and Alberto. They came together with their families and we got pictures of them in armor together and laughing. Both were absolute gentleman to us. Im disappointed on how things unfolded with Del Rio later on, but it was quite an experience and they were very good to us while we gave them a tour in the stables.

His face turn ruined him now I have no issue with him as a face I just think he changed characters and the good guy didnt suit him. He shouldve stayed the same just changed his targets. Look at Austin,Rock,Lesnar etc...... when they turned face is not like they changed gimmicks rock was still clowning ppl,being arrogant, using ssme catch phrases etc... just now instead of facing guys like Austin, taker & mankind his focus was on HHH,Kane Big Show etc..... Del Rio on the other hand was different after his turn. I actually liked his initial turn tbh. I mean he was the rich pompous dude that seemed to not give a damn bout nobody but himself but then when Ricardo was being bullied by big show he showed that they formed a bond which was relatable I mean who wouldnt stand up for a friend getting bullied. So when they broke them up it was a mistake

Both were big stars who were given gimmicks based on popular fictional characters that were based on a real luchador. Tiger Mask is based on Fray Tormenta, Mil Mascaras on El Santo. Both men under the masks were legit shooters and both are reportedly assholes who may or may not have mellowed out in their old age but are protected from retribution by the money they draw and their legendary status.
