Trish……I remember that moment. That moment I realized that my beautiful daughter, who is 23 and a MP in the Army (a Sergeant), is able to handle things on a daily basis without my oversight. Without the need for ME to explain how things need to go. It’s a proud moment. Sad and ecstatic at the same time. But very, very proud!! I was in tears with you while watching you speak, so proudly, about Carson.

A mom victory for Trish! When my son graduated from boot camp I think I cried for three days! So dang proud of our young people who choose the military as a career. My husband is a 30 year Navy man so it means a lot to us to see the young men and women have a desire to serve. On a lighter note, my son worked at the Hall of Fame and talked to you guys and helped make the arrangements for the bird. He is now working at the state house in Indianapolis so he wasn’t there when the Bird arrived but I was there to visit last week and she looks great!
