Many have asked if we are safe after the tragic event in Christchurch a few days ago. Yes, we're back in the States now. After spending time with the wonderful people of New Zealand, we will continue to hold a positive thought for all the lives impacted.

We went on a 13 day cruise around New Zealand last October. We had a wonderful time on our tours on land, interacting with the wonderfully friendly people of New Zealand. We enjoyed the sites. But, as enjoyable as it was, the views, the interactions with the people, the closeness of the beauty of what we are seeing on your journey is amazing to us. It makes us want to return, rent a van and see the rest of New Zealand.

Wow, just wow! I am so enjoying your New Zealand trip. I spent eight weeks there back in the 1990s, mostly on the South Island. Your videos are bringing back so many memories for me. I did a farm stay in Te Anau. Instead of Milford Sound, I did the cruise on Doubtful Sound. It was a gray and mystical experience that ranks way up there! Your weekly videos are such a treat. Much thanks and gratitude 🙏

I agree with you about the extraordinary beauty of New Zealand. I lived in Christchurch in the early 90’s and was always amazed by the unspoiled beauty and how few people are there so it doesn’t get overcrowded. I did your trip sort of, including Queenstown, Milford sound boat trip and around he whole of the South Island. Outstanding. Brought back memories. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing!

WOW, just wow! From the simple family time to the AMAZING filming paired with the music, so well done! I watch your videos on my 4K big screen TV, and this episode was done so incredibly well the viewing was magical! It was truly spectacular and all of that came across to the viewers. Nice work. At the beginning, when you ask for 'likes' I want you to know that you should ask KZbin to allow the likes from the TV, as I can't 'like' from the big screen, (although I am a subscriber) they should make it easier for viewers to like from TV because so many people are watching from their home TV, and you deserve the 'likes' so I jumped on the laptop to do so. Anyways, this was a fantastically done video, the music, the family the scenery- excellent! Enjoy the rest of your NZ adventure!

The drive from Milford sound to the tunnel is absolutely spectacular in the rain. Hundreds of waterfalls appear as the rain has to run off the solid rock faces. On our way in it was pouring and we were thinking that was bad but when we saw how much more beautiful it was compared to our sunny drive out were glad!

My wife and I got to honeymoon in NZ and French Polynesian. Your trip is bringing back such great memories. The Milford Sound was one of the most beautiful places we saw there. Loved Franz Josef and Queenstown - did anyone jump? We both jumped the original bridge. I know you are back but hope you got to experience one of the jet boats - crazy. How about the deer farming? The herding dogs are amazing too! Thanks for the trip down memory lane - love your videos!

OF COURSE we gave this great video a thumbs up! Everything KYD does is interesting enough to watch twice. My wife & I got a kick out of Marc saying "Please consider giving us a thumbs up,......we have set a goal of 2000 likes for each NZ video." We on the other hand, broke out the champagne later this afternoon when we got our 98th subscriber! Had quite a few of the same experiences as you all did with the exception of breaking windows! Ha Ha First time we started in Christchurch, did the South Island, took the Interisland as you to the North, did the North Island and dropped the Wilderness in Auckland. 2nd time was reverse................did the North first and then the South dropping campervan in Christchurch. Helicopter to Milford Sound from Queenstown was amazing!!!!
