Marc, I have seen every video of yours over the last 8 years and this is the video I found myself leaning forward the most for. As a dad and someone who feels like he has come to know you and your family a bit, although virtually, I know those feelings and frustrations. Thank you for sharing your life over all these years and not just the easy stuff. I just put my deposit on my truck and plan to start exploring this lifestyle next summer. Your channel and your family were literally my inspiration and education as I dreamed and prepared. I know you and your family believe in prayer as I do so know that I am praying for Cable and we look forward to the updates on his speedy recovery. Stay strong and thanks again for all that you do for this virtual community.

You Guys. My heart hurts for you all. I completely felt this entire process, plus you all are amazing story tellers.-- I mean the truck, the travel, the child trauma (and BTW Those are amazing X-rays and the 3D CT Scan of his leg. That is what I do and allows me to be able to travel.)) You all just showed us, that sometimes we have to take unexpected Routes , not freak out, just take it in stride, but be ready to think outside the box. Challenging, but you all are awesome showing the perseverance of what it takes to survive Life. Thank you for sharing your stories and LIFE. Prayers for quick healing and patience towards this new challenge for Caleb--- KYD Merry Christmas and here's to a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025--

Followers from Grand Haven,Mi - we are so sad to hear about Caleb’s injury! It brought us to tears & brought back memories from 5 years ago when our son had a pilon fracture of the ankle sounding similar to Caleb’s with the external fixator & surgeries. It took 9 months before he could live on his own & we were so thankful we could care for him during that time. Caleb is blessed to have such wonderful parents to care for him on this long road of recovery. Stay encouraged! Praying for patience & Gods complete healing. 🙏

I have a 2022 F150 and was getting all kinds of weird error lights and such. Cruise wouldn't work, lane keep assist wouldn't work, anti-lock breaks wouldn't work, and a number of other things on top of that. There was a recall for a wiring harness which was replaced but problems remained. Long story short, they had to replace a complete wiring harness from front of truck to the rear. They had to drop the gas tank to do this. Took over two days at the dealer. Maybe check into the wiring. Caleb is young and will recover, I don't envy him the pain. Best of luck to you all.

The DEF/limp mode issues with modern diesel trucks was our single most frustrating problem when we full timed. Our solution was to carry an OBD2 scanner and simply delete the error codes. Sometimes they would go away for days, sometimes for months. But it wasn't a long term solution. We eventually settled to delete the entire emissions system, so the engine could do its job. That was around 50k miles. Today, we have 160k on the engine and not a single emissions problem since. Man, I hope Caleb can fully recover. He's strong both physically and mentally and he has a great set of parents to coach him through this.
