KEF 104/2 speakers & Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ (Use headphones or earbuds to listen!)

I tested my KEF 104/2 speakers by playing music via my iPhone 10+ through a MYTEK Brooklyn DAC+ via USB. RCA cables from the DAC to a Luxman C-1000 preamplifier (AUX in).

Thanks for watching! Currently I am using an 8-watt 300B single-ended triode (SET) tube amp. The sound is wonderful and the tube amp powers them fine. My room is 10’ x 11’

Impressive, make me wonder how it sounds when pair with turntable

I tried the Mytek’s phono stage with a Dynavector 20x2L cartridge and it sounded fine. But I decided that the phono stage in the Luxman preamp (for MM carts) hooked up to a Bob’s Devices SUT (step up transformer) sounded better.

I still have the M2000. I was using the M117 for awhile. I just put the M2000 back in last week. I have an M120a amp too. I like to swap amps, preamps, TTs etc. from time-to-time👍👍

Yes you can. I have two 120 watt and one 200 watt amps. All three of them can drive the KEF 104/2 speakers. Just don’t go crazy with the volume.
