KEF LS50w Vs KEF LS50 review

My experience living with the KEF LS50w (KEF LS50 wireless)
The KEF LS50w is really a nice sounding speaker for the price.
Very versatile and has all kinds of connectivity you want.
The external dacs I used with these KEF LS50w were

A very fair and honest opinion.... So obviously I agree.... I still continue to enjoy my own passive LS50, SVS SB16 Ultra, Parasound Halo A51, Bluesound node 2.... I have no streaming or network inconsistencies, I can upgrade any individual component when I wish and I can give plenty of space around the loudspeakers and these are my own reasons for preferring the passive version.... Plus I do like the uni-q presentation... Cool comparison video

Great review. I’ve always found it hard to fathom why some people prefer their speakers to be less than transparent. I want what comes out ... as near as possible to what was put in/recorded. The LS50’s do that for me. The only problem I have with them is that I can’t crank them up because I live in a flat and the bass is amazing ... and ...deadly for community relations.

Hi Thomas. Thanks for this. I mentioned to you about the Ls50 wireless in the comments months ago and you kindly replied and said you would look out for it. Wanted your opinion as I was so impressed myself. Keep up the great work. Gotta get some ProAc's at some point (any with the ribbons).

This a great setup for people who like simplicity. Had mine since November , paired with the KEF R400B , it is a great system. none of the bulk but simplicity. The App is improving, plus a firmware update had been released since June to correct some of the issues people may have experienced with their LS50W. Overall been happy with it. Great review.
