I didn’t mind the vanish system much at first, but now that most people learned the timing… i wish there was some kind of difficulty increase for it with every attempt. Because now it’s just a one minute long endurance test decided by who had 1mm more meter when it started.

most of the issues you faced have to do with dashing. when you were trying to ki blast you usually did it after a dash which gives a smash attack instead. when you were trying to grab after a dash it gave the increased dodge with r1 instead of grab. this game has a lot of odd mechanics that interfere with each other in specific circumstances it's kinda annoying 😭 also yes i hate super counter. the fact that it takes zero resource to do something you can straight up just mash during a combo is really bad imo.

It's funny because everyone thinks she broken and she's not because you have to have a good grasp on the game to survive with only insta spark alone especially High Elo when everyone has Afterimage Strike, Wild Sense, Instant Transmission, Insta Spark with unblockables etc she's just a more balanced version of actually broken characters and she's probably the only counter that isn't as overpowered but stands a chance.

Personally i don't like super counter specifically the fact that it doesn't cost anything to use. This means at high levels when people have the skill to use it consistently combos just wont exist because super counters break any combo unless you find a way to combo with only ki blast. Its really weird for a fighting game to not have any true combos, i think they should make super counter cost either ki or a skill count so that actual combos can exist, especially since something way weaker like super perception cost skill count

@@emptyjumplowit’s very very luck based. You can obviously get better at timing it, but like you said it’s difficulty makes it very luck based regardless. In a match I could hit 12/20 super counters while in another I get 6/20 (all while timing it basically the same with maybe milliseconds of difference which is why I say it’s luck based to a large degree). Obviously there are people who can super counter a lot better, but even they can’t consistently do it (and if they did you’d at most land 2 hits before being countered which is unfun). I personally hate super counters I loved all the defensive mechanics. But after a chess game of trying to outsmart your opponent into getting into a combo string you just get 2 hits before they super counter? Very unrewarding and like I said a person could be lucky and get many or vice versa. There’s absolutely no counter play to it aside from countering it yourself after it stops your combo (which defeats the point of counter playing it since what you truly want is your combo). Maybe make it only possible to use after a string or 2 of basic combos or make it cost half a bar of ki? Personally I’d love to see it removed as a whole. It’s basically a revenge counter on a 0 cooldown and no skill cost. In fact it’s even better considering u can do it while getting hit from behind and it can’t miss…

And that’s after I finally get through all the defensive mechanics and mind games to even land a single hit. I genuinely lose more then what I gain when I go sparking because of super counters and there’s nothing I can do about it against good players. I beat my friend most of the time but that doesn’t make super countered any less fun to deal with. Also you can’t convince me that low dp characters can just super counter your high dp character in the middle of a comb. When did they suddenly be able to ignore the effects of being hit enough to counter attack 😂 anyway love the game, my only issue is super counters (and the cheese characters ofc)

Yeah super counters need to have some limitations. Like you can literally super after it as well. I cheesed my friend so hard since I can hit it a little bit more than normal and it’s not fun to watch. I can’t tell him to just get good cause like I know that shit cheap lmao. Side note, I think there definitely should be some true combos. This game feels like I’m fighting with defensive mechanics and key blast instead of actually fighting and mixing. Idk how I feel about that because high low is point after 20 seconds in the game because of you can just super block high/low

A lot of people are talking about the vanish wars, isn't there counterplay to it though? If you have the timing down on the vanish, you can probably throw a super counter to just end the vanish off, potentially revenge counter it too but that mechanic seems to be a noob trap, not entirely sure.

long story short, the opponent cant block anything behind him, plus the fact her ult is a explosion type which cover a huge radius around her so it can easily hit the opponent from behind, and that cant vanish it and it cant be blocked from the front, however.... characters with afterimage skill will easily bypass this during the whole explosion regardless if she is behind them or not and it will miss, if someone uses afterimage before it happens and she uses it, there will be automatic vanishes through the entire animation cause it last for like 10 secs or something

i like super counter a lot (the up + x/square one) . it takes alot of practice to be able to pull off consistently. idk if its true but i heard there's only a 4 frame window for it. my problem with it is that the opponent can just reg vanish in response, how is that fair? they can counter ur much harder counter with the easiest one in the game? that doesn't make sense to me. if they took the ability to vanish it away, then it think itd be much more valuable and is the best way to stop the vanish wars that will only get worse overtime.

@sbfantom I mean yh technically it's not really cheese, her ult just has a good range and it's very quick. So when you dragon dash behind them and pop it they're barely gonna react to it unless they've timed their block properly so that they're blocking towards you already.

Any player with more than half a brain will just rush kefla when she’s trying to charge “I’m number 1” since there is an animation tied to it leaves her open to be basically infinitely combo each time she tries to use it. I was having a ton of fun in single battles until i ran into a cheesey SSJ4 gogeta who had all the auto spam on earth, it was the first time i fought SSJ4 gogeta so the speed of his attacks completely threw me off, then a fought a good ass Broly, respect to him, then i fought more SSJ4 gogetas of completely different skill levels it was annoying even when i was doing good, its more fun fighting Vegito and hell even beerus, almost went from D5 to B5 in an hour and 45 minutes or so and thats when the nonsense started. It got repetitive and annoying very quickly especially the gogetas that only try to backshot all game and UI Goku is just UI Goku bs but im loving the game and all the characters but the basic cheese and stupid "meta" are annoying PS respect to that dude that played Cooller and slammed me
