scanners have their pros and cons just like vocollect. i prefer vocollect (as long as the equipment is properly taken care of) because it cuts out the needless motion & wait time of lifting your arm to scan something, but as long as they factor that in to your time then it seems like an overall great place to work.

Send them an email. They withdrew my application saying that they chose other applicants. I emailed them back to let them know that they’re missing out on a hard worker with a great work ethic. They responded saying that they thought I was located out of state but they fixed it and told me that they wanted to interview me. Long story short, they gave me the job and I start on Tuesday, May 30th. I can’t wait to start this job because I miss working in a warehouse… it never hurts to reach out to them.

@@lunatikksasylumpodcast1998 show me one proven case where cardboard cut off someone’s wrist. I worked in a warehouse for 10 years wrapping pallets without gloves. I’m a drummer and pianist. Never once did it hinder my skills. Some people just have paper thin skin. And that’s ok. But not me. Glove up son. Maybe attach some tassels to your gloves.

I feel there is a disconnect between working in hot conditions while also trying to be a warehouse for fresh foodstuffs. The obvious problem being, products would go bad faster in hotter enviorments without good AC for the products in your warehouse. By insisting in working is hot conditions you also insist on losing product unnecessarily, and probably employees as well. This comes off as antithetical to the buisness.

They have different temperature zones for each type of food products for example the cooler is kept at about 35 degrees and has all the meats, dairy, produce, juices, the freezer is about -10 and has all the frozen stuff and the dry has any thing that wont go bad in the heat
