This is one of my favorite episodes all because of Data!! Along with some ENT-D world building, this bottle episode pays dividends later with the Miles & Keiko family storyline, Geordi being Data's best friend 🥰, and Spot's appearance! Just an all around great episode and totally rewatchable! (Speaking of rewatching, check out the one dance segment with the camera facing down on Crusher and Data's feet - Data does NOT replicate the crisscross dance move exactly as the android should have! I wrote that nitpick into the Nitpickers Guide years ago!) Thanks @The7thRule ! ❤💛💙🤓🖖🏾

An endearing and interesting episode this one. There was more to it than I remembered. I had forgotten the whole ambassador/Romulan story (a wedding, a Vulcan and Romulans - Balance of Terror anyone?) First appearances for Keiko and Spot 🐱. And O'Brien gets to do more than operate the transporter. I believe Brent Spiner is not a cat person, so he did well handling the cat. They know when people don't like them. I enjoyed hearing all the different things happening on the ship - a wedding, a birth and birthdays, school productions and all. I wondered what Worf would give as a wedding present - his and hers batleths? I loved Keiko's wedding dress, so pretty. And O'Brien looked very smart in his dress uniform. Wasn't that keen on the Vulcan ambassador's costume. I prefer the simple grey robes they had in Enterprise personally. I noticed that when the shifts changed at the beginning and at the end, it seemed only the senior officer in charge changed rather than all the other bridge crew. I would have thought all the staff would change shift together, like in nursing? Am I mistaken? Is this normal on ships?🤔 Something else I noticed - Romulans love their shoulder pads. Riker was recalling the last wedding he went to - very different. Catch you next week. 🖖

I felt like this replicator room was intended for larger items.

Day-ta's Day, a wonderful episode with someone else's perspective than Captain Picard or Commander Riker. Ryan and Cirroc did tease out the good bits and the maybe bits for us, and the FFA did a fine job of that as well. I find all the different perspectives we bring to a watch of these episodes to me very informative of what my fellow fans think about things. Live Chat was rocking, as is usual because we ARE the #ChatPack after all!! ONE LOVE #ChatPack, The Next Generation of #ChatFam!!

I haven't sat down and just watched TNG in like forever. I've always binged it, but I don't pay full attention. I definitely noticed spot looked quite a bit different than normal.

I was actually thinking about how she got in. I have to wonder did her family sneak onto vulcan and they raised their kids romulan for this very purpose and it's something she's trained for her whole life? Are there still romulans on vulcan?

Data was just terrible with pets and just replaced them with one similar also named Spot and hoped nobody would notice. Spot actually started out as a dog, but Data got smarter with his deception.

Not everyone has money to be a Patreon Chris, but thanks anyway. Maybe one day.

In past viewings I tended to skip this one. It's not one of my favorites. But I was happy to see it this time. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. And I relate to data a lot.

I didn't feel like data was doing anything unusual. Learning how to dance was an example of trying to fit in. You don't need emotions for that.
