Keiko conservationist, marine biologist, and underwater photographer Kori (IG: @kokocuvier) with stingrays and black tips filmed on a sandbar in Moorea at the Intercontinental Resort with Moorea Eco Tours Cata Manu (Keiko Approved Eco-Tour). A shark feed is also featured in this video that was filmed off island. These stingrays are not physically modified in any way with all stingers and barbs intact, yet there has never been an incident with the rays at this site. It's always incredible seeing humans and marine life peacefully coexist, especially in such an interactive way. You should not feed wild animals unless properly trained or under the supervision of experts. Always book tour with a local operation that specials in these interactions most respectfully enjoying the wildlife. The pink whipray of this Moorea sandbar have been part of generational feedings since 1994. This allows for locals and tourists alike to enjoy interactions with stingrays in the wild, rather than confining them to captivity for petting stations as many zoo and aquaria have done for decades.
