Another note, the idea of using carousel to eliminate the weakest component is a game changer. I never knew the item pool worked liked that so this will fundamentally change how I play

Great video as always! Amazing content. Take my opinion lightly, but I feel like the big bold subtitles is a little distracting especially when I am trying to look at the text on the document and listen to you. It forces me to focus my attention up and down the video. Alternative is to make use of KZbins subtitles. Having said that this style of subtitles is very effective on tiktok/youtube shorts etc, so it's understandable you have added this.

really good video man, I like the tempo of it, nice and fast with good explanations. I'm Diamond 3 , and knew most* of this, but even I got a few really good tips I didn't know, ( i really liked the item component bit, I always assumed the drops were purely random and slammed best combo's I could get after krugs/wolves. Any chance you could do a vid specifically on tips to help climb from diamond to masters? Seems like everyone knows what they're doing and has perfect eco, I can make a smurf and go First/Second every game until mid plat, go consistent top 4 to diamond and then boom, I hit diamond and plateau and go first or 8th like every game, with no idea how to just not bleed early mid. Like I'll slam strongest board and items and still lose so instead of streaking it's choppy and I've already used 4-8 gold on leveling for streak and then I just have to eco back to 50 and have like half hp by wolves if I don't already have a good comp going. And it really hurts that reroll feels useless on new patch but could just be me idk

When you talked about the item component pools and how’s it’s rare to natural the same items, I had one game where I got 3 chain vests and 3 rods and I took item grab bag to hopefully get some more variance and it gave me two rods and a belt 😂

14:44 i think i still would go for AD, if i take a bow and get another one (even if its a bit more unlikely) i end up with a usless rfc for samira or a 2nd last wisper in case i get another glove or something. With the Ad i still could go GS/Deathblade/IE or even something like BT or Edge of Night if the others have backline dmg

what an educational guide, i love it. just a question regarding the taliyah build mentioned at 15:25. i would say that shojin and rfc is the better option since they synergies pretty well together and the main purpose of statics is to shred MR which another unit could apply as well. would you slam your combination in any situation?
@pwkotor47
@pwkotor47 2 жыл бұрын
shiv gives starting mana, attack speed, and a bit of ap, on top of the mr shred. there's no situation in which rfc is a better item

@@adikateonenia there is NO situation where rfc goes on Taliyah unless it's to hopefully top 4 next round and have nothing else to make and no hp left. Literally rfc Is horrible on her. Even rageblade/shiv is much better. Nonsense talk. Listen to better players, you clearly don't have the brain to theorycraft tft or haven't played enough to catch up to already established knowledge and need to learn before adding your own opinions. There are people in challenger and you aren't for a reason. I'd assume you are plat or below in ranked as that take on Taliyah is so bad that I'd literally rather slam a single how on two different champs just to make them ult sooner. Idk if rfc works in silver but I can assure you it's horrible. I'm not saying you cannot win with an rfc on her. I'm saying it makes no sense at all.

Isn't the econ example at 2:21 wrong? Does it not assume you will get the streak gold? You go down to 20g lose 3 (if you lose it will break streak and you will get 7g income). So there would be at least 2 rounds of lose 3. If you are going to assume winning anyway then what is the point of leveling to 7? Since you could get 5+5+3 == 13g plus the round win gold without leveling???

The concept of playing for top 4s or even playing for 5th or 6th has been really alien to me and probably a big reason why I've struggled to climb. I've been a world ranked CCG player, in 1v1 settings, and it ... the hard win/loss mentality has really driven me in to too many 1st or 8th situations. Side question, is it really worth just FF if you loss streak 4 and win before Krugs, or is it worth playing for 5th or 6th?

Great video Keima! I am a GM player currently and I would be interested in seeing where you think breaking the leveling flow chart is beneficial. For example, there are times where I am able to go lvl 8 on 4-2, lvl 7 on 3-2, lvl 9 on 5-5 to either push tempo or because I took a 2-1 econ augment.

15:15 My play will be making GS and keep the tear for Shojin/blue buff, is this a mistake? Another question for 15:15 : Should I always put shiv on other units thats not my main carry so that it frees one more item slots for my carry?
@kl-qo2gv
@kl-qo2gv 2 жыл бұрын
Both of these questions are situational. -not necessarily a mistake, but if you need items right now good to slam. (Examples being if you're trying to winstreak or low hp). There's a ton of possible factors like how far it is into the game, whether you have the luxury to greed holding a component, possible other items, whether the wanted components are contested, etc etc etc
@kl-qo2gv
@kl-qo2gv 2 жыл бұрын
Same to the second question, depends on how late it is in the game + a ton of potential other factors

Well I'm mostly playing double up, and I've found that winstreakingin double up can be extremely hard if your partner doesn't happen to be SUPER strong aswell. Since thereis allways the chance of someone else having a teammate with... let's say a supers board, they will stomp some other guy, not even my teammate, and be on my board almost instantly... I've really been struggling with this, in my opinion it's generally saver to loose streak in double up, but that also requires your teammateto be rather weak so you don't accidently break the loose streak... and it really does make us struggle with low hp quite often, which is once again a even worse problem in double up cause even if we do get strong late, there's allways the chance of some other weak guy loosing fast and my board having to play 8v16. Would love some feedback on this problem XD.

I didn't understand that last example with the Taliyah. I would think spjin still would be better because the star guardian trait affects manageration multiplicatively. Or am I thinking about it wrong. Why is rapid fire plus sojin worse. Lots of attack speed on a item that generates mana based off of attacking seems just as good as giant slayer and shiv. Are you trying to say that rapid fire is worthless even though it scales well with sojin Star guardian?

Do you have a source and/or more info for the "3 copies of each item component in your personal pool"? I've tracked dozens of personal games and haven't found an instance where I get natural 3 copies of the same component, but I know the sample size is low.

I played a game yesterday where I wanted to run sure shots based off of a sure shit heart first augment. I started carousel with belt then hit three tears in a row from pve(I took something else via next carousel). Between krugs and wolves I hit three tears back to back and it turned a probable top 2 to a lucky fourth where I died the same round as fifth but I lost less hard. I'm diamond 1 currently. Same thing a few days ago I had four cloaks on my bench before third carousel and didn't choose one from first or second. It's possible. I was trying to force zoe heart too and hit 4 cloaks. Literally made me go 6th because of items alone. I had zoe 2 early with 4 heart in and a huge early winsteak. I three starred Lee, zoe, sona AND hit an early syndra. Doesn't matter because mortdog aid no augs/items for you sorry pal. It's rare though. Out of a hundred games I can remember two.
