This man is another waste of space. Srap 60% of all university courses and put the money into STEM and trades - that is how you grow the economy - with human capital. The Mirror and Labour are about public sector non-jobs and mass immigration. Get ready for five years and another six million population increase. When will you on the left realise it is poor lifestyle and a lack of curiosity that causes the problem with the NHS and schools. The general public on the left don't want to learn and look after themselves - they just want to use public services. Vote REFORM - leave all inteernational treaties, bring back national service and make STEM and trades compulsory and ban these woke non-jobs. Hey this would take too much effort. I guess here comes five years of mass borrowing and smoke and mirros all over again.

Starmer will I hope be a calming presence in the country should Labour get in (and with Reform splitting the right wing vote) they might well do so. I'm waiting for the manifesto to be able to get fully behind the party and know it's going to be tough but hopefully achievable and realisable.

This isn't a battle of the sexes. I'm as supportive of addressing the issues you raise as the next person. But what does that have to do with violence against women? Let's look at the stats for 2023. Over a quarter of adolescent women have been physically or sexually assaulted by an intimate partner. Whereas 0.25% of the UK's men are in prison, 1 in 182 people (both sexes) are homeless and 0.0015% of men are the victims of murder. The scale of violence against women swamps the issues you are talking about. I know they are important too but physical and sexual violence affects millions of women (1.4 million in 2023). Take gender out of it, it's just a far bigger problem for society.
