A sociopath I’d say. And a narcissist. Incredible to witness how one individual can bring a country like the UK to its knees. He didn’t even believe in Brexit until he twigged he could ride the xenophobic populist wave ignited by Farage. And now a cost of living crisis brought about largely because of that deluded experiment. I’m glad to be out of it, here in Australia where democracy is in far better health largely down to the fact everyone has to vote. The feckless and self serving Morrison just got his marching orders, about time the UK did the same with Johnson.

Wishful thinking. He has a large parliamentary majority and does not face an election for another two and a half years. The English voters knew he was a pathological liar when they gave him this mandate. The fact that the whole world sees what an untrustworthy entitled charlatan he is does not matter to him. He could not care less as he simply wants to enjoy the power of being PM without actually doing anything useful. For a man who is not stupid and has a sense of history, I wonder if he has the sense of awareness to realise that he is possibly the worst PM in history. Now that his daddy has received French nationality perhaps he will seek refuge in France when he is finally out of office.
