I hate the tories, but Starmer hasn't said anything about taxing big businesses, shutting down tax loopholes like offshore businesses operating here. He hasn't talked about taking back our essential services like water. Not one person I know is happy about self-centered people coming across the channel so they can illegally enter our country. We also need to stop legal immigration because we have a housing crisis, a school crisis, an NHS crisis, and no one is telling us how to sort that out. We need to pay the people who save our loved ones' lives a proper wage. Instead of allowing BP and Shell to earn a fortune out of us.

The problems surrounding deportation are many and simply employing more people to process applications is not the whole picture. A huge amount of immigrants simply don't have paperwork and wont admit country of origin. In these cases we are simply not able to deport them unless we can absolute prove who they are and get them paperwork from their countries. It takes years in many cases and is the reason for a massive part of the backlog. Not the only reason, others include perpetual legal challenges, and the court of human rights. It is a complex subject and simply processing paperwork faster will not fix it.
