Thanks for all your reviews! After watching your reviews of the bikes I was interested in I went with the Keiser M3i. Many reasons I went with Keiser, but mainly it's the exact same bike I use at my closed health club. So down the road if the bike needs to be worked on I know there are people in my area familiar working on them. Plus I have all apple products and am presently using the Apple fitness + app. Which I love and is only $9.99 a month. I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into your reviews so I could make an informed decision on which bike to purchase. You might need to move into a bigger place if you review anymore bikes...

Great review. I just picked up a Keiser M3 (I didn't need the features of the i model). Bought it used, as there are a ton of them available used. They're built in Fresno, CA, the company is an easy phone call away, and if you need anything (I ordered a new belt) you can call talk to a real person, and your parts leave that day. They are infinitely rebuildable and easily worked on. Mine has 11,000+miles showing on the odometer, and it's still smooth as glass. Best $300 bucks I've ever spent.

@@allenvilla7098 It doesn't. I've burned through 8 bikes in 3 years. Some of their frames are misaligned - warped. I am going Stages SB20 - arrives late May. Once I get the next Peloton bike swap (May 4th) - hopefully the frame is good so I can sell it.

I’ve reached an age where running hurts me more than helps me and I started cycling instead at my gym. They have a Keiser M3 and I really like it, it feels like riding a bike. I’m considering taking it to the next level and riding more outside the gym. My dilemma is a quality stationary bike costs as much as a road bike. But riding outside at the intensity of a stationary bike where I live is not an option be I d live in a bike friendly area

maybe you should just give it a try for a season, it'll change you're life, perhaps you'll pick up a new lifelong passion - if not, sell it and go back to indoor. I love outdoor riding. hope this helps

The Keiser is phenomenal. I really enjoyed riding it. It feels like a quality piece of equipment. Although I already know the outcome, are you gonna compare it to the 1805? Thats probably not a fair comparison. Probably Keiser vs peloton or nordic track. Loving the videos. Keep up the good work.

How are you liking the M3i after 2 years? Any problems or mechanical issues? I am thinking of buying a used one for $1000 with 6060 miles on it.

@@bmp713 did you end up buying that used one? I'm looking at several around me in the $700-800 range, I can probably haggle them down even further and just use whatever fitness app I want on a tablet.
@bmp713 Жыл бұрын
@@ryanmiskin8925 Yes I did buy one. It is extremely well built but the display is bare minimum and not compatible with most HR sensors. You lose all your display data if you stop pedaling for a 1 minute bathroom break. Also it only works with chest straps. Its an insane workout at least. Pros could train for the Tour De France on this thing easy.

My Sunny with pulse monitor does track very close to my Fitbit. Given it is not immediate and I have to hold onto it awhile to register. I have also found just laying a couple of fingers on it registers as well as a full grip.

Great reviews, but I am looking for a comparison of the front wheel vs. rear wheel spin bike advantages and disadvantages. Specifically the Sunny 1805 vs. 1709. Also where to actually try out a Sunny bike before ordering one blind off of the internet.
@TailHappyTV3 жыл бұрын
There's no difference in term of feel, the difference is the flywheel in the rear keeps it out of the way from sweat dripping into it. If the flywheel is heavy and on the back it makes the bike more difficult to move around on the mobility wheels.

I started indoor cycling 2 years ago, and so far I've broken 2 sunny bikes, an Xterra mb550, and a Sole fitness sb700. I think its time to upgrade to the Keiser, but will it last longer than the < $1000 bikes I've had so far? I'm really sick of new bikes all the time!

It's typical quality over quantity. Besides that the keiser is a very populair worldwide and therefore there are plenty of spare parts widely available. When a cheaper bike is defect you can throw the whole machine away..

I’m looking for my first bike. I’ve watched a lot of your videos. I don’t want to spend a ton for a bike as I won’t be doing peloton or anything, just burning calories. I see you seem to like Sunny bikes for the price but when I look at the reviews on Amazon, it scares me. A lot of people say it’s great and then there are those that shit all over them. I was looking at the 1805 but not sure if I wanna spend that much. Is it much quieter than the 1102? I figured it is with the magnetic resistance and smoother. I want a pretty quiet bike because my gym is next to my baby’s room and don’t wanna wake her up. You clearly know what you are talking about. So, which do you honestly think I should go for? I am 6’3” and like wider, softer seats. Thanks in advance!

Lol, thanks! Of the bikes I have here, peloton, nordictrack s22i, echelon ex4s, echelon connect sport, and keiser m3i all give power output metrics, I cannot verify the accuracy of these power metrics, none of them use a strain gauge. I'm surprised the schwinn ic4 does not give a power estimate because it does give cadence and resistance.

Thanks for another great video. Don’t you think that the manufacturers should focus more on other features than a little display being included in the bike or not? I mean everyone has has some sort of device to display the metrics. It’s almost like the manufacturer wants to take away your attention and hope you’d go for their bike because there is a little device that they include as it looks nice. I agree that Wahoo in almost all cases would be enough, why not add it instead? I’d build a better app instead and leave it to the customer if they want to display the metrics on their phone or 55” tv display ;-) thx
