No time for yourself, theirs always a little one following you, your bank account Is flooded with having so much things to buy & pay for...etc it's a lot and it takes a toll on a lot of people. That's why mothers sucide, and post partum depression is increasing by the second... It's too much, for one person let alone having many kids. Everything you do, Literally you have to do it for your child. And with how dangerous the world is, and how it keeps going. I don't think children are the best thing to happen right now. Sometime I think it's selfish to bring a child into this evil, cruel world just for the sake of your own happiness. But you know that's just my opinion, and I can't just completely say & think that because one day "as everyone say I may change my mind", and I don't want to be seen as a hypocrite for what I said. Also the system is not good, and too much children are being killed, raped, assaulted, beaten..etc by the system. There's just a lot of factors on why I restrict having children sometimes...

First of all, i live the pixi cut. Secondly, the fetishisation of hijabi women is a thing that I'm only now starting to see. There are so many sinister undertones to the sexualisation of hijabs and those who choose to wear it. Being a hijabi myself, i can say that the whole point of wearing the head scarf is to remove that aspect of sexuality, and adds a layer of privacy. So when it is presented in a way that is overtly sexual, it doesn't really make sense to me. And it's scary how the industry will take anything and connect it to sexuality just because the 'basic' stuff doesn't work anymore.

Exactly. People want to sexualize everything, even things that are supposed to make the individual feel safe/have an aspect of privacy. My opinion: Avoiding fast fashion is a rich people problem and not the working class’s. There are some people like myself who cannot afford high end brands and cannot thrift coz there is literally no option where I live. Meanwhile the rich influencers all over the world doing shein hauls and following this awful trend of “never repeating clothes for the insta grid” is what is truly harmful. So, I see why people may say this. But K-pop is a whole @ss industry. If we exclude BTS and BLACKPINK, the music is still there. There are many artists and groups who make absolutely amazing music and represent their culture pretty well, but they aren't jus popular as these two big groups. So, you need to dig a bit deeper. My opinion on thrifting: IT DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. Especially depending on where you live. I have tried thrifting and I absolutely hated it after it got delivered and in 99% cases they do not accept returns. There are no decent thrift stores. There is lesser size range. Lesser options to buy. And honestly, I would much rather get a fresh new piece than an old one. They are not always in the best condition.

People won't come for Urban Outfitters or designer brands, just the cheap brands like Shein.

Right. Its a catch 22. Yes, fast fashion isnt ethically produced but people who buy it also usually can't afford to buy expensive nice ethically made clothing. You can't blame poor people for buying the nicest clothes they can with the budget they have. I hate shopping at Amazon and Wal-Mart because they are corrupt businesses but I also can't afford to not shop there. Instead of blaming people for buying it spend your time going after the root problems. And yes, nobody ever has shit to say about these unethical expensive brands.

Literally everybody at the end of the day is a freaking critic and has different motives he end up doing the thing that he said he wanted with her. And she was just an underage child it's really sad. But yes I do agree with you people really should start practicing what they preach more. There's been a lot of Unholy Justified things done out of the name of Christianity but if we're going to come for the whole religious system of belief we need to talk about spiritual belief I don't think it's the same opinion negative views as Christianity and I believe everybody can be their self however I do think people place their own habit views on spirituality and it became a gray area of black and white for them than actually reading between the fine lines.

A note ab singing & belting: basically yelling is frequently mistaken as a “belt” especially when coming from a singer with a half decent tone: they can push the sound forward out of their nose + mouth, jacking up the larynx which causes the vocal chords to bang against each other to make noise. This technique may work for a little while, plenty of singers made a name for themselves by singing that way. But it is NOT sustainable. Note the difference between Christina Aguilera’s “belts” and Ariana Grande’s “belts.” It’s pretty obvious too that over time Christina’s vocal range has shrunk significantly, meanwhile Ariana consistently performs and consistently keeps the range required to perform her discography! I’m willing to bet $30 that in 20 years time when Ariana is the same age as Christina is now, she will have the same vocal range that she has now. Also The women from Abba are a great example of women who don’t default to yelling when singing higher notes

Legit so true about the Episodes thing. I was really into that from 13-16 because I wanted to support a friend who wrote their stories on there and also I liked a sci-fi and a murder mystery story that use to do well. But then you notice a lack of inclusivity. People had a whole thing with Episodes that made them include more LGBT and POCs. Then after that all their stories turned into middle age women/men fantasies. 50 shades. Rich guy or older person exploits poor girl/ young person. Toxic romances. Incest. Teen pregnancy. Just way too much predatory vibez and bad behaviors being romanticized. Just a poor use of writing. It really worries me how obsessed with s*x the adults of this society want children to be.

Idk if it’s the culture itself, but everytime I’ve interacted with any of Hispanic family friends, along with my own family, and discuss mental health or feeling depressed here and there, they look at it as something that is a result of not “praying” or being “positive” enough yet I’m literally the most optimistic in my whole family. I hope other Hispanics can’t relate to this as it tends to put people into an even deeper hole of mental health struggles, but it definitely is something I can relate to when it comes to topics or opinions like “Black family’s not caring about or taking therapy seriously”.
