Love this. As someone who used to work for In-N-Out I can definitely verify the benefits for employees even when you are only part-time. They also do a ton of extra things outside of that such as yearly family picnics, holiday events for the families, and sports competitions between stores. As for menu items/tricks you missed: you can get the bun with "no-toast" you can get the patties with "no-salt", you can get the fries with no-salt, you can order the burgers with mustard and ketchup instead of the sauce (or just mustard or just ketchup instead of the sauce). Also a drink you can 'make' yourself is to take a vanilla shake (its good with cholocate too) and mix some in with Dr. Pepper, it tastes almost like a cherry garcia.

@@MeganSmithers they season the patties with salt and pepper . The spread I believe has onion/garlic in it so I would order no spread or ketchup/mustard instead. Fun fact, In-N-Out employees also get to go to a big kind of "family picnic" which has like a ferris wheel, rides found at like carnivals, along with everything basically being free like churros, dippin dots, funnel cakes, etc. and everyone is put into a raffle where they can earn pretty cool prizes. The moment when Americans congratulate a company for having "benefits" that every company in Europe is required to have by law... Sometimes I really ask myself how you guys even survive over there... I would be so anxious if I had to work and live under those conditions
@alise68133 жыл бұрын
How it's "supposed to" work is that all the employees are theoretically in high school or college, working their first job and still dependent on their parents. So they shouldn't need benefits, as they would have them through their parents. However, as higher paying jobs requiring no experience or college degree disappear, more adults start taking these jobs too. The system here doesn't work for several reasons, but this is a big one
@lezzleee3 жыл бұрын
@@alise6813 There's too many jobs that aren't "For high school/college" that also do not give benefits for that to be true. And the law that says you can be on your parents insurance until age 26 wasn't even around until 2010.
@cmykimberly3 жыл бұрын
@@alise6813 well considering the cost of college, if someone in college can get a low entry higher paying job WITH benefits it sure is a big help. There's plenty of people who don't have parents to fall back on and plenty of people who work these types of jobs all their lives because they don't get a higher education. Think you need to broaden your perspective more.
@alise68133 жыл бұрын
@@lezzleee @Kimberly I'm not saying it's good logic, or that this system should work, this is just an argument I hear for it frequently. I also agree it's a sucky system that benefits the companies way more than it benefits the employees, or anyone else for that matter.
