as someone that is autistic and has trouble imagining tactile hypothetical experiences (like how food would taste), i love Keith Eats The Menu so much. my big brother adores Jersey Mikes and ive never had it because the menu overwhelms me (and also we grew up poor, so the idea of wasting money by picking something you end up not liking causes a lot of hesitation ontop of my autistic Safe Food limits). Keith and the team behind Eat The Menu have been huge on helping me feel not only feel more comfortable ordering things i have never tried before, but also help me gain variety so i dont get sick of the limited classic Safe Foods i eat. thank you guys so much for this series; it's been really helpful and genuinely, absolutely helps me enjoy my life more. the next time my brother goes to Jersey Mikes, ill ask if i can come with. thank you for all the help once again ♡♡♡

keith is right about the mushrooms!! the whole network is called mycelium, and an individual filament (similar to a single root in plants) is called a hyphae. a whole patch of mushrooms are not only talking to each other underground, but also sharing resources! this is a big thing with plants also, because the hyphae connect with plant roots and help plants get nutrients from the soil that plant roots cant access easily and the plants give the mushrooms water and stuff, and in that way all the plants in an area are connected to each other too via this network, especially in forests !!! the majority of a fungus is underground (aka the mycelium), and the fruiting body (the part that is above ground that you think of when you think of a mushroom) only is there to produce spores really!

Former JM employee here! The wraps are kept room temperature and tend to end up sticking together most of the time lol we only used the wraps to make quesadillas. Also I live in FL and instead of the krimpet, we had a GF snickerdoodle cookie. And also, there’s a lot of different creations on the “secret menu” you can order! A fan favorite I used to see often was what we called the 99, which is the Big Kahuna (chicken or steak) and just add chipotle mayo. Oh, and all of the chicken used is the same! It’s frozen and gets finely chopped on the grill, same as the steak! :)

Loved the whole segment with Jared, his 7th inning stretch and his message was so wonderful. Thank you Jared!

Right? His message at the end started out sweet, but it left my a little teary eyed. I was sitting on my couch (as most of us probably were), but I have recently moved into a new place that’s a much better situation/environment and it caught me off guard 😢😊❤

Seeing you guys try tastykakes was genuinely jarring. I'm in one of the states where those are EVERYWHERE and sometimes I forget they aren't in every grocery store In every state and I was like "why are they acting so unfamiliar with tastykake???" For a moment lmfao

The reason for all the different types of ham is because Italy and Europe in general, we’re looking for ways to preserve meat when they had a lack of refrigeration. In case you were wondering.

YES. I’ve been waiting for a new video of these let’s go. I watch these episodes in the background because I have seen all of them each about 7-10 times already

As someone who eats Gluten Free the Jersey Mike's bread is actually one of the best Gluten Free breads.

I guess I never realized there was such a height difference between Jared and Keith! Either Keith is giant or Jared is tiny, I have no clue which, but I lean more towards Keith being giant 😂😂

+1 for Jersey Mike's. I find their subs to be the most like the subs of my youth growing up in New Jersey. A plus for them is that the ingredients seem to be of high quality, and always delicious. The #8 Club Sub is by far my favorite!

What many of these shops do wrong is that they don't cook the tortilla - you're supposed to heat it up so it's not chewy and gets stuck.

The post-music-lesson food stop is so real. When I had my weekly trumpet lessons in high school, we would stop at McDonalds and I would get an apple pie and a blueberry/pomegranate smoothie. God, I miss those.
