You mean transcribe, and you need to get to the level where you can do that yourself in all 12 keys, otherwise you won't be in a position to benefit much from the instruction in any case.

Diatonic chords in Jarrett style as you teach them are incredible! Did you know also in the baroque era they used to harmonize the scale on the bass with substitute chords? They called it “Rule of the octave” and also gospel musicians do the same thing with a lot of creativity. This is a great lesson as always but with some magic added, please go on with this format!

You're absolutely right, Francesco! This classical diatonic approach (a lot of triads, often chords with the third in the bass, and modulations to each scale degree) sounds so wonderful, especially in Keiths hands. And it's also used in gospel and even in pop music (Elton John,...). I sometimes call them "Disney Chords"... :-)

Nice Tutorial. The diatonic chords in KJ style sounds a little bit like Korean contemporary gospel chords, like in Yohan Kim's style to me.
