I'd love to know what J.S.Bach would make of this. I can hazard a pretty good guess. I'm a guitar player [ mum wouldn't let me have a piano 😪 ] and I LOVE this and am in awe of Keiths playing, and your transcription. I'll try this on the guitar. Wish me luck. I hope reincarnation is true, because I think this could take a while.

How did you transcribe this? I haven't looked at everything but some bits are not totally accurate; for instance, at 3:22 - 3:25, you can hear in the left hand that he plays only 2 notes and not 4 in the chords. Also at the end, in the finishing chord sequence (G and C minor), you put 4 notes in the right hand but I can really only hear 3.

I'm not sure what you mean? I transcribed it by listening to it and figuring and the notes and rhythms as best I could, and then writing it out. Have I added a couple of notes to a couple of chords? Maybe? It's almost 8 minutes long, and was super hard. Worked on it for months.

Michael Lucke I was asking if you used some kind of software to transcribe this piece. These softwares often add more notes that there should be, and in places where the ‘naked’ human ear would not

One question, in the light of Criticalpersperspective2´s comments, have you considered checking your transcription and revising if necessary, in the interest of accuracy ?

@@Gerard_2024 Before I post any transcription videos to KZbin, I check them through many times. I mean, accuracy is at the heart of what I do. Yes, some mistakes will slip through, and I do go back and check things if any one points out mistakes, and I will adjust the PDFs if necessary. I might not reupload a new video though, depending on how long the video has been up and the nature of the mistakes. I assume the comment about the chords around 3:22 was referring to only hearing the top two notes. I can hear all 4. Admittedly, I'm less sure about the middle C in the right hand on the final chord. I hear the D in the chord before it, but it's hard to tell about the middle C. At any rate, it's an extremely minor issue here. I should also add that the audio probably gets degraded when KZbin processes it.
