It’s kind of annoying hearing people talk about Keith Lee who didn’t know who he was before his Atlanta trip because they have no idea what his entire premise is. I think y’all missed the whole point of Keith’s reviews. Everyone knows that celebrities get preferential treatment no matter where they go. The point of Keith’s review is to get a POV from a regular customer who is just going in. He wants us to see how they treat their everyday customers. If these restaurants are trying to be only exclusive to celebrities or reality stars, then they should have that disclaimer on their website or plastered in the front of their restaurant. Otherwise, there is no excuse for the mistreatment and we as people of color have to do better about customer service all around if we want to stay successful.

Damn near no one speaking on this from Ochocinco to Ish has done their homework on this topic and speaking from how they feel businesses should get the benefit of the doubt. The issue is when the rule states that the establishment closes at 5 and you call at 4 you're now being told it is closed and then you go in and see people are seated being served. I wonder how many other topics they spoke on without actually getting all the info down.

It’s a common of problems In Atlanta restaurant business. You got out of towners owners that came here to just exploit the culture of Atlanta. Or even literally don’t know how to run a business. They just have money and felt like they can run business crappy business model in Atlanta . After Covid a lot of true Atlanta, food spots couldn’t make it. A lot of these new spots are doing a lot of trial and run. Some care and some dgaf. So owners are very capitalistic and some run very in tuned to the community business models. Some are hiring experience and some are hiring no experience to save money. Remember Georgia is a fire at will state. Hints why a lot of restaurants don’t know how to listen to experienced employees. Hence the drastic differences in customer service out here. Location has a big part of reasoning of no deliveries. Some of these places lost a lot of money, trying to do pick up orders and deal with lines out the door at the same time. Now your losing money with re fire orders or running out of food. I’m sorry but a lot of people In Atlanta with order 100 family meals now the people physically there are waiting hours. It’s 1 million variables. Some of these places are small and just starting. And one TikToker will post this place and all of a sudden people at flooded your store. Hell even physical traffic around the establishment. Now I know it sounds like I’m siding with these restaurants. Now I will tell you I love the fact y’all are targeting these restaurants because they terrible Ways definitely needs to be called out. The city of Atlanta makes money off of tourist attractions. And these restaurants, slick, help rotate money in the city. Like the strip clubs and clubs. so the city of Atlanta turns its head sometimes. But the people complain to TikTokers, and not actual agencies that come down on these businesses. there are many agencies to complain to about these restaurants, but the huge problem is a lot of people don’t even know about these resources. Knowledge is power. Not all owners in Atlanta are from Atlanta some also Just are doing just enough to get a dollar. A lot of the owners are copying each other’s business model and hoping and praying nobody sees the BS. And that can span between how they treat their workers or even customers. If you notice in Atlanta, a lot of people that are owners are doing the small shops restaurants to have cheap rent. But the main problem is them getting greedy when they have growth and not moving to a bigger location. and then there are some that are just putting a bunch of little locations everywhere. Atlanta customers are filled with the world . These customers also does a lot of scamming in fraud to these restaurants as well. Hence some places cash only or tap only. Some restaurants are tired of being scammed. Some restaurants are just doing a lot of caution to not be scammed. This is a non union state. I’m sorry but Georgia is set up to give owners a lot of power in laws so . This state is getting over on people not knowing the resources to hold them accountable. So saying that that’s why Atlanta turns it’s head because everyone is pissed but not doing anything about it. The best check mate in 2023 today is social media. And owner has to get ahead of bad PR😂 I love owners getting held accountable. Some are very genuine, but they are overshadowed by the terrible new owners in the city. It’s a catch 22 in the restaurant business in Atlanta. I watched Atlanta show it’s ass after Covid. The best spots In Atlanta are known by all the people that has lived there 10years plus. Everyone else slick still touring . I moved to Atlanta from palm beach Florida in 05. This is the worst behavior Atlanta has been on. Covid make Atlanta sick in many ways😂 and we still had to got to work in Georgia. They called restaurants essential over here😂 slave model. Property I mean workers can’t get sick down here or your killed I mean fired. Atlanta might be democratic, but the owners in Atlanta are definitely fiscal Republicans. Read the room. They cutting corners 😂 now Keith on they ass😂

I listened to the broadcast and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. 1. First and foremost the place has to be clean. It can be shabby and run down but there can be no roaches and rats and brown water leaking from the ceiling into your soup. 2. Customer service, must at minimum, be civil. The customer pays for this. The customer can get somebody calling him a cheap stupid ass for free. 3. Good quality food. Notice I placed this after customer service. Why? Because if your servers are shitty you don't know what they are adding to your food when they bring it to you. That blackened salmon may have had a few meetings with the floor before getting on your plate. That guy on the panel who had his friend call in and get him better service better beware. "That fool complained about me? I'll fix his ass! Oh, I'm so sorry for your bad experience," all the time knowing one of his boys is spreading some of his secret sauce he saved up in a condom on that salad and some nice warm ass crack cheese on his chocolate cake.
