Fun fact about The Oregon Duck! There was actually a handshake deal with Disney once upon a time that the UO got to use him. Eventually there was a cease and desist, but Disney lost because The Duck's image had developed into something different. Donald Duck received an honorary degree from the UO in the 80s!

Fun fact about Reveille, pronounced REV-A-LEE, goes to every class with a chose corps cadet all year. The cadet takes care of the dog and cares for it at all times. If the dog barks during class the teacher is required to dismiss the class for the day no matter how far in it they are.

As a Badgers fan, I was ecstatic to see Kieth rate Bucky so high. He deserves it. Fun fact: at football games the Bucky mascot will do pushups equal to the new total score after every score from the Badgers. During blowouts this means that Bucky has to do dozens of pushups at once so they usually have at least one person on standby to take over being Bucky if the person needs a break

That's the old UConn mascot suit. Jonathon used to be an all white Husky, but about 10 years ago they went back to the black and white husky and rebranded everything! There is also a real Husky that goes to everything and everyone loves him. Jonathan XIV retired today! And now we have Jonathan XV. The last all white Husky was Jonathan XIII.

I have to point out that the University of Colorado does also have a live animal mascot. Ralphie is a real live buffalo who is run around the football field during big games. A fun little tidbit is that the concept of the Masked Rider originated from a prank, and is also the first mascot of the university, with Raider Red coming along much later. I wish they included the Masked Rider in this.
