Why? He only had one loss against the MASTER and still a year younger than Terence Crawford. He could have defeated Tim Tszyu if the fight was not cancelled.

@@User-km4wk Vergil was that guy at 147 he isn’t proven at 154 and his last real fight was in 2022 coming back fighting 2 cans and stopping them in the 1st round won’t help anything he could’ve just did sparring for that Tim has had 4-5 fights in the last 12 months let that sink in

Inactivity thing is absolute BS. Vergil Ortiz Jr also was away from the ring 2 years and came back all of a sudden just to knock 2 first opponents out in round 1. Furthermore George Foreman returned to the fighting scene at age 45 and knocked out Michael Moorer to become a heavyweight champion of the world again. Thurman should be able to do it too.

Tim's biggest weak point is he never backs away to study his opponent, change tactics and turn the fight around strategically. Hopefully his father is teaching him new techniques in Thailand, if he fights again like a warrior with Ortiz his chances of winning are not good.
