You gotta taken into account the quality of their opposition. Ortiz's best wins are blown up 140lbers (Orozco & Hooker) and Mean Machine while Tszyu has been fighting top 10 154lbers for a while. Easier to go on a KO streak when you fight smaller guys. I'm a fan of both but I think Ortiz needs to acclimate to 154 and fight someone like Jesus Ramos first.

As an Australian Aussies are underestimating Vergil he is a beast I have watched every fight he has had and he is different. Fundora isn't that good he's sloppy and just awkward. Vergil is a different ball game. This is by far the hardest opponent Tim has faced by a mile. Vergil is faster has more power better skills and is just better everywhere than anyone has faced don't underestimate him he's different. Only concern is his health and ring rust on talent as a boxer though whilst no fighter is perfect he doesn't really have big weaknesses he does everything good he's got good solid footwork fast hard to hit with a good highguard powerful accurate can fight all styles he's at least hard fight for anyone at 154 or even 160.

I like Virgil Ortiz fights because he looks so dominant, but people are making him out to be Beterbiev. Virgil just dominated a guy who went 4-6 and 1 in his last 11 who never fought at 154. Virgil didn't even make weight at 154. He has health issues. He has literal meatballs on his record who he's dominated. Tim has fought better opposition and has been the far more active fighter. That loss was due to a freak cut which blinded him. In that 2nd round, Tim was already catching/timing Fundora. If Virgil doesn't come up with a ko early, it's very likely he'll gas. For those reasons, 65/35 Tim's favor. Tim has more experience.

As an Aussie ill surprise people by saying only worry i have for Vergil is his health and activity if thats in check i think he will stop him either way i am picking him but thats my concerns nothing skill or talent based at all. I have watched every Vergil fight and a lot of Tim whos fought two guys i know both actually went he distance. But what I see in Tim is he holds his hands wide and isnt hard to hit down the pipe. Vergil is fast and that jab is so sharp and hes very hard to hit clean. Ortiz went his first 5 pro fights without getting hit with a jab he has a great highguard. I just think Vergils jab and right hand will land from early on.I see him Beggining to break him down by the 4th or 5th and from there Tim will open up and will have to try and up the output to keep up and i think Vergil will pick him off well to the body i think he will end it around the 8th or 9th. Nothing against Tim i just dont see him having the speed and defence to keep Vergil off of hi.. Hes got reasonable power but Vergil has better power but i think the bigger thing is I see Vergil having the ability to land cleaner sharper faster shots and having the defence to not get hit back.
