Tim Tszyu has reunited with his dad and they are both in
Thailand for Tim Tszyu's up and coming fight with Vergil Ortiz in LA on August 3rd. In this video I show clips of the training and explain my thoughts on their mentality and how it plays a part I the up and coming fight.

Yeah the leg trip was disguised a little ( by the media), especially on the PBC release of the fight, the really tried to downplay it it seemed but I noticed it pretty early, I had a feeling the fight could be messy, I actually mentioned that In my pre fight So many awkward limbs between would raise the percentage. Yeah absolutely, no BS, they are the type to fight without a contract, I love it. Proper old school. Haha, Kostya is funny, the end clip I put of him laughing as he is thinking of tougher things to plan out for his son for camp lol. It's a 50 50 fight really, I'd favor Tszyu ever so slightly but Ortiz is beast. Can't wait for this one. Cheers 👊🙏

Excellent video, was looking forward to this coming in. Agree 100. Ortiz is super dangerous so nothing will surprise me, but I got to think Tim's activity at 154 gives him a solid edge. Can't imagine promoters doing this fight without Turki Alashikh's influence, he's been a godsend in recent boxing. Kostya is probably mercilessly brutalizing Tim in training, lol. Thanks.

Great video mate, Alot of people are counting Tszyu out. Ortiz has knocked out a fair few tomato cans who don't fight like Tszyu fights. Tsxyu doesn't have 1 punch KO power but he wears fighters down and by the 7th round his punches feel like KO punches. I have watched every fight he has had being in australia and his biggest weapon is body punches, He hasn't had to use them alot in hid USA fights so it will be good to see him use them in this fight. They don't call him the soil taker for no reason.

Thanks a lot. Some good points you make here Ortiz has yes, but he also knocked out Mean Maschine(tough dude) and everyone he's fought. Really interesting point you make about him not using a lot in the US, I totally agree, he threw more and ended fights with far more body shots outside the US. It's definitely his best shot from a technical stand point. He really whips it in, similar to his dad (not as good imo)

Kostya is real legend in Russia and around the world. the fight with the fundora looked like a setup in its purest form - Thurman left fight in last moment, Tim gets this uncomfortable Fundora and the fight itself turns into a bloodbath. Nevertheless, Tim showed his best and got a fight with the excellent boxer Virgil Ortiz. No matter how the fight turns out, I think it will be a spectacle. Plus, Robert Garcia’s fighters have been getting beat up lately. We'll see!

Interesting that you said about Tim tripping on Fundooras feet. I also noticed this later in the fight and Tim was prevented from cutting the ring off, or make any forward progress. This is something that will need to be addressed should they cross paths in the future but I doubt this will happen.

Yeah its something I noticed after watching the fight back, although the commentary team failed to even mention it, was weird to me, even on the Full fight, they seemed to skip over the actual incident. I think that cut really changed everything so hopefully the rematch happens and we can see who is the better fighter.

Hey Henry, luv y work and watch all your videos mate. I agree with a lot of things you say, which means you must be right. 🤣 TIM v VERGIL Vergil one of the best young and unbeaten fighters on this planet. His preparation for this big step up in class and weight makes this his 1st and real acid test. He all K/O wins, sickness a year ago, 2 knockover fights cannot have him in tip top fight shape. Because of Saudi money, Vergil is allowed to fight Tim because I feel the timing of this fight favours Tim. He is super fit and he hs 2-3-4 good years in row of being fight fit and getting stronger, faster .. sharper.. Tim a year or 2 ahead of Vergil in that area. Both mentally strong, as game as Ned Kelly and have bucketloads of desire.. so much more to say about this fight… What a fight !!!

Well, his trainer is his uncle so I assume they will all have a roll. Im not sure if Kostya has a licensee to train so I doubt he will be in the corner on the night of the fight, I could be wrong but as family they will be able to figure things out quite easily id imagine

Kostya lost a fight mid career and came back from it to destroy everyone in his path as champions do. That's why he's joined up with Tim because he is bringing that to the table. When you're forging a sword it pays to add a little meteorite. A different Tim is going to enter the ring against Ortiz and Ortiz is going to pay Fundora's tab.

You really think Tszyu is one dimensional? I disagree, his skills are subtle and deep. Tszyu defense is very good. Tim Tszyu aint. looking to outbox you either. Not sure what fights you have been watching but I made several videos on his style. Either way I hope we get a great fight, anything is possible but id favor Tszyu on points.
