A Model Steam Engine Test Plant - Part #1. I frequently bench test Model Steam Engines for long periods using my Air Compressor but I would prefer to use Steam. I recently bought a Model Boiler which is 6 inches in diameter and about 12 inches long with a high water capacity. This is how I built it into a Boiler plant with a Hand Pump, Water Tank and Condenser. / keithappleton

Ive never seen a shop compressor with refrigeration type compressor units on it here in the states. Nice big boiler. I have a Cretors popcorn engine i would love to run on steam.

Also , if you come across one, a 2nd air receiver tank could be plumbed into yr comp air supply to give more volume .

I want to use the Castle Steam V6 Boiler for coal firing. It is also much larger. This one can live in my second smaller workshop for quick Steam Tests.
