Great to see that you're digging into afrobeats. I would recommend taking some time to check our unofficial lingua franca - Pidgin English, which is what almost all the afrobeats artists use in their songs, if you really want to enjoy these sounds. Pigdin English draw some kind of similarity with the Caribbean Creoles and has some connection with the Portuguese language.

First of all this is afro beat, which is basically composed in pidgin English. Once you get that you are good to go. As someone from the outer world it will be difficult for you to understand the lyrics because it's pidgin English, so you really have to pick the words, fuse them together and make sense of it. Pidgin and accent are all part of the genre which makes it beautiful. Welcome to the world of afro beat.❤

Synopsis for the uninitiated... The chorus pretty much says, The haters want to check if her money is flowing in, but it's rushing (heavy flow). It's God that makes her cup runneth over, and it's no hype, the whole team is killing it, no slacking with her team. The kind of money they touch is plenty.
