My neighbor is a widowed Nigerian woman and she offered me and my fiance to come over for her birthday and celebrate in her backyard with her kids. I've always wanted to try Nigerian food and I was excited for all the things she brought out.. and the jollof rice was the grand slam of the night. Never tasted rice. So good in my life, it was literally the best part of the meal and that's saying a lot because of how good everything else was. She sent us home with a lasagna tray full of jollof rice. It's hilarious how confidently Chidi says 'As a man who knows his food', 'as a chef' and his dish always turns out be the worst 🤣🤣🤣 "This brother can't cook" 🤣 4/30 for the dish but 30/30 for his confidence

I’m here for Jason😩😂. The guy is a whole vibe. And one thing he wont do is lie about your cooking. But idc basmati rice will never be accepted in being used for Jollof for me🥴

My lovely Ghanian and Nigerian family, something big happened regarding our jollof rice and who does it better. First let me say i love good food, i experiment and i love both Nigerian and Ghanian dishes. However, in a cultural event we had at work in London the feud started all over again. so there was a large crowd on the said day and non Africans and non Ghanian and Nigerians were the umpires. so guess what the outcome was, it appeared that everyone endorsed the Nigerian Jollof rice as the bees knees. Now i have said, i trust this beautiful feud between these beautiful nations is over. personally i love both, i also strongly believe that a good dish is not about the nation that prepped the dish but the individual chef and ingredients available to them. The Nigerian Jollof was simple but ouch it was sweet Oo. I love you all, now lets focus on developing Africa.
