Sooooo I had the exact same issue. 2007 frontier bad ecu (non immobilized) I purchased a 2007 xtera ecu with an immobilizer and literally used the heat gun to lift the chip off on and put on the other.. no flux, no tape no nothing.. I know your way is the best safest method but I needed my truck back running and this video saved me at least $400. Truck runs flawless!! Thanks for this video! Subscribed!

Loved the colab. I was making bets that the ecm would not work because Nissan is the devil. I have delt with Nissan diagnostic in the past and opted out of getting used modules because of Eric O problems. SMA sent me. But to be fair, the truck he was working on was a hot mess from the get go and with multiple parts changed out I would have thrown in the towel.
