Just to let you know this MV is not typically done because in Korea they are still pretty traditional & negative towards LGBT community, advertisements, talks, etc (Mostly the older generation is against it, but slowly LGBT is being more accepted). Usually people who are LGBT have to hide it because it could cost them their job, friends, & family can really disown them. SO it was a shocker when kpop fans saw this mv (but not in a negative way). Anyways, the 3 are friends. Initially what the director wants us to see is she's teasing guy #1 as if they are a couple. But then the next scene we realize she is with guy #2 & #1 finds out by accident (when they are hugging each other) & is friendzoned. The scenes of her in the car with him is his imagination; we can assume he still has feelings for her & wanted to tell her (But if you can catch it early on, you realize that he actually likes guy #2 & that he despises her). Then in the end when he rips the photo, we think "oh he is accepting the outcome & letting go of her" but then plot twist picture is put together "omg he was in love with #2!" (Btw #2 doesn't know this). Then as viewers we look back at the mv & realize they were giving us clues the whole times

The guy he liked was straight so even if he and she (She was the sister of the protagonist, the actors name is Seo In Guk) did not get married, the two were not going to be together. For me, they did know that Seo In Guk were in love with the guy, but they tried to envolve him, to make him feel like a dropout.
