With absolutely no offense to his sons, who are air tight, it's amazing how much work Billie Joe is doing all by himself to make this sound like a unique cover. Both the guitar lines and vocals are just distinctly Billy Joe. When you see him live or in a studio recording it's not clear how much Billy Joe is really doing versus the backing guitarist or over-dubs. Nope, he really does sound like that. Dope.

In all seriousness, do you really think it’s a wig? How do you think so? Because onstage when he’s sweating and running around and running his hands through his hair there doesn’t seem to be any sign that it’s artificial. Unless he has a REALLY GOOD hair transplant guy. Unless since this was during COVID peak times and his hair doctor was unable to get to him and he slapped on a wig for this performance.

My head can't process this. My dad is a quiet accountant who parts his hair, wears bright white New Balance sneakers, and idea of a good time is reading the technology deals that come out each week from Fry's Electronics.

This song fits his vocal style so well. Only thing missing was the harmonies.

I've never liked double timed snare like that either, especially when it goes through most of a song

I don't know if it's just me but the effects or whatever of his mic makes him sounds like Phil Collins LOL

Go and check his selfies on Instagram. He has a good hair, but looks as old as he is. If doesn't it is because he usually wears make up in shows and interviews, and because he dresses like a rock star. But his face looks 48 without the tricks.
