Absolutely not...people need just leave Whitney Houston alone. Anybody can talk with spunk and a lil sass....but until someone comes with Whitney's beauty, charm, and singing ability, then Whitney's supporters don't want to see it. We would rather them release unseen footage/performances and behind the scene documentaries. We don't want any more parody-looking biopics. Let KeKe work on Angela Basset's biopic.

@ChristianaChristiana816 🤣... Okay I hear you. I don't think every Whitney fan agrees with you on just releasing old footage but the cheap bio pics are not it. What I do know is that the die hard Whitney fans want a satisfying film on Whitney. It hasn't been done yet. I'll be honest, I don't think anything from the Whitney estate has been of sufficient quality. Some will argue that Whitney's image is weighed down with unpleasant facts. But Michael Jackson's estate handlers, for example, have done an excellent job with Michael's legacy. Elvis Presley is another example. Maybe the difference is Whitney doesn't have family members who are truly committed to maintaining the quality. For example Lisa Marie Presley and her mother wouldn't have allowed certain biops to pass -- despite the money

@ lol I am so serious...at this point, I'd rather see a collaboration of studio videos (of her recording some of her greatest hits and brainstorming with producers)....and videos of her artist development early on....videos of live performances that we've never seen before. I'm talking about from the time she got signed in 83 up until 96/97. Even childhood footage of her with her father and mother, at church, performing with her mother before she met Clive, etc.. I'd settle for that instead of another cheap shot portrayal and condescending storyline. Whitney has jealous so-called family members that are eager to tarnish her reputation and continue to make a living from the exploitation. That last movie was a disgrace and insult to Whitney. Whatever Whitney did in her youth, she wasn't proud of it and denied it until the day that she died. It was her story to tell or not to tell...maybe she just wanted to repent and move on. It was vicious for her team to wait until after she died to "honor" her with a darn les-biopic.

I hope that movie studios understand that what made Wicked so good and so successful is that they hired really great musical theater performers for the 3 lead roles instead of better-known movie stars who are lesser singers.
