I love kekht arakh because he does whatever he wants. I see people in the comments trying to label this as old school or not. It is evident that it is not old school, it is something new, it is the mixture of the things that kekht arakh likes and inspires him. Is he. People are a complex mix of things and simply sticking to a label kills part of who we are and biases us when it comes to creating. A black metal fan does not have to listen only to black nor does he have to follow a certain pattern. I admire kekht arakh because he is brave to show without reservation what he is and what he likes. Kekht, if he wants, will make you a black metal song, or one for Sailor Moon. He is free, he is honest so as not to hide what he likes and mix it if he wants.

Indeed, Këkht Aräkh is one of the most refreshing projects, from my humble point of view. I really enjoy the romantic and melancholic style, and seeing it combined with Black Metal creates a powerful blend that conveys intense emotions. Këkht Aräkh and its Romantic Black Metal are brilliant! This video is fantastic because we can see Crying Orc's facial and body expressions, observe the places, forests, rivers, castles, birds, weapons, clothing-everything he found important to show us. It means a lot! The 'old-fashioned' filming style was also a wise choice, making it beautiful, nostalgic, and an old-school video shooting. I truly loved this video. It's truly unfortunate that the video is limited to just 3 minutes; I find it so captivating that I could easily lose track of time and happily spend hours immersed in its content.

@VikVaughnMISC Imagine attempting to give a history lesson of a genre, and speaking about one "wave", and one geographical location as the genesis, and definition forevermore of the entire genre - and all this in spite of most of the scene forefathers of this particular wave and geographical location admitting how immature most of those thoughts and actions were as TEENAGE KIDS, and have progressed the genre beyond inaccessibility merely for the sake of inaccessibility.

Really appreciate the more intimate take on black metal and the proggier elements. Even though I’m drawn more to raw black metal I do really enjoy your take.

@giwrgospetrou1159Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check them out. My find of last year was Trhä, really can’t compare them to anything. Another was Keys to the Astral Gates and Mystic Doors if you want some raw black metal.
