Shane's Choice

Shane's actor Jon Bernthal also plays Frank Castle also known as the Punisher. There is a famous scene where the song frank's choice plays while he finally gets revenge. I absolutely love this song and I thought it would fun to play this over the scene where Shane makes the choice to sacrifice Otis in order to save Carl's life. So it's basically a redesigned scene.
I only had to cut a couple scenes here and there so I didn't feel like I should add my watermark or anything to it, considering this editing was so minimal. Feel free to use this video however you like.

@Masticatious Rick hadn't really suffered any mental loss that would push him to the point of breaking like Lori and Shanes deaths did. When he killed Shane as he said "I killed my best friend for you people." It was breaking him, and the second Lori was gone [and she's the reason why Shane ended up being a problem] it made Shanes death regrettable, he also lost his wife.

Shane knew what was coming before anyone else did. Shane was WOKE and knew how to survive. If it wasn't for his cloudy feelings for Laurie, he would have continued to be a solid leader. He was fearless. Not to mention, everyone became Shane afterwards, and not too shortly afterwards, either. Every single person (including Glenn, RIP, at one point) did it and finally grasped it but never gave a second thought or mention about Shane. He did what was necessary to keep people he loved alive and moving forward and so did they. He was in full-on survival mode. I'll never agree with all of his decisions, ever, but I fully understood why he did what he did when his focus was on the REAL issues at hand. He kept trying to warn everyone and no one was prepared. No one wanted to budge. And honestly, if it weren't for Shane, no one would've learned to grow the hell up and wake up. I wish he remained on the show longer. Shane truly loved Rick. He stayed in the hospital. He really thought he was dead. He couldn't help falling for Laurie and I HATE that Laurie got off without any real blame or infractions when she did all the meddling and got into everyone's ears - especially Rick's - about how she played no part when she was still playing games at the farm. It was her that convinced Shane to think he still had a chance on the farm while swearing to Rick she hated him and he had to go. Rick wasn't stepping up at that time and didn't like Shane calling him out on it. Rick also NEVER took Shane aside to hear his side ONCE, EVER. That pissed me off. So Shane went out into that field with an UNLOADED pistol and Rick murdered him Shakespearean-style for Laurie, not for the camp or Carl or anyone else. For himself. I would have loved to have seen Shane's character development and see him go after the REAL villains side by side with Rick and Daryl. Maybe he would've been killed differently or they would have parted ways but his character definitely deserved better.

Rick should've just accepted that Shane is Jude's father. That she was a product of them thinking he was dead. What's wrong about Judith having TWO paternal figures? They both could have raised her given that there's not a lot of people left in the world. Rick was stuck to the ways of the old world and it cost him Shane's life and Judith's birthright. He came to regret it years later, he said so himself.
