The best part about it is that they're very different though seemingly the same, Pyro tracks one target and it's spelled doom all over it, this one barely does any damage to the primary target but in the AoE around it the splash does the damage to all the other nearby targets Kinda interesting concept but sadly won't matter much cause everyone just takes the fissure lol

RobotDoctorRobot, a Reddit user, has been requesting Kel'Thuzad in Heroes for a year or two now. Whenever a new hero was released, he would complain that it wasn't KT and would list off that string of titles to kind of prove that he should've been the one. Blizzard just decided to play into it at the end of the video.

It's a meme from HotS subreddit. The guy he mentioned was making posts asking when Kel'Thuzad will be added, using this exact list of titles - every week for over a year. Looks like someone on Blizzard was reading them after all.

There was a guy on reddit who was complaining every time when Blizzard released a new hero and it wasn't Kel' Thuzad and added a table of titles which was his explanation why he should be added. D&D is Kel'thuzad's (the Lich's) ult in Warcraft 3. It used to be a channeled AoE damage ability. Its origin may be in WC2, but the reference here is to its usage in WC3.

I've always liked Kel'Thuzad. Despite him being a bad guy, he struck me as being truly loyal to Arthas and was a true friend and mentor to him when Arthas was in the Scourge and was somebody who actually embraced concepts such as friendship and loyalty so long as you were on his side. I'd love to see him in WoW again as he made for a worthy foe and was an interesting character as he was a bad guy but not a complete monster like Gul'Dan who he obviously had disgust and contempt for.

bounchofbeaners Not really. The first Warcraft game came out in 1994, and the first Game of Thrones book had been worked at for 3 years already at this point. Besides, the story in the first Warcraft game basically boiled down to Orcs drinking blood and wanting to go to war, so they invaded Azeroth to fight Humans - the story was minute-long cutscenes with scrolling text accompanied by a voice reading, and the snippet of story that was revealed in the Warcraft 1 instruction manual, which was a whopping 8 pages in total for Orcs and Humans, page 16 to page 20 - while the story of the first Game of Thrones book had 694 pages.
