Chandler Morillo after what happened at the pro bowl, I'm starting to think 6-10 might be a little generous. I know the pro bowl is meaningless, but how could they have only scored one touchdown in a game where players barely even play D...? I just don't understand why Jerruh can't throw down some big bucks to get a top-tier OC. If you can afford a quarter billion dollar yacht, you can afford a few mil to get a proven offensive coordinator. I'm already steeling myself for the inevitable disappointment that will characterize the 2019-2020 season for the Cowboys, lmao

I dont really pin that one on Kellen. It was literally a last second heave. The only bad int was the redzone one. Which watching him step up in the pocket, i thought for sure he found someone for a TD. Only thing in that he could have done was either run for the TD(lol) or just throw it away
@MrDodger3
@MrDodger3 7 жыл бұрын
No it wasn't. He had 15 seconds left and even if Dez catches that, they don't have time to get up and clock it. Stupid throw that literally never could've worked. Should've kept working down the field and getting out of bounds so he could make 1 throw into the endzone, not a hail marry to the 20 yard line

Moore has the all-time record for wins by a starting quarterback in NCAA Division I FBS: 50-3. Gruden says if playing in the NFL doesn't work out, which it didn't, he's going to be one hell of a coach. I believe that. I believe this kid's intelligence and background will make him a very successful coach. Good luck Moore as the Cowboys' OC.

With only a few snaps with the #1's last week he actually came out and moved the offense pretty well. Kellen doesn't usually turn the ball over and i think the first 2 INT's in this game were just 1st NFL regular season start jitters. He has a full week to work with the 1st team in prep for Buffalo....he should give the Cowboys a lot better viewing this time around. If people can just get over his goofy looks, size, and arm strength intangible....They will realize that his superior anticipation, excellent read abilities, accuracy, and composure makes him a successful QB. As a coach's son He prepares better than anybody and knows the playbook like a guru. He always knows where his WR's are and has the timing and accuracy that makes arm strength irrelevant. Yes, if you are a team that just wants to throw the 'Hail Marry' all game long....then Kellen won't be able to compete with the big arms. However as prooved in this game....he is great for sustaining drives and moving the ball down field. If he settles in and cleans up those few mistakes...he can really help settle the Cowboys down and get their offense moving again. I am not a Dallas fan, but Good luck Kellen and good luck Dallas!

For a first game, it wasn't bad. Couple bad decisions, but overall it looks like he can play. No athleticism by NFL standards, but he generally seemed to throw to the right guy with accuracy. I don't know. It'll be interesting to see if he can tighten is game up over the next couple weeks. Wouldn't surprise me if he's a lot better than expected.

He could have had a longer playing career as a QB2, probably on the level of someone like Shaun Hill. Getting his ankle broken seemed like it got in his head a little bit. He was short on physical tools but made it with accuracy and a great head for the game. After he got hurt he would hesitate just a bit, Jerry Jones did the right thing to move him to the coaching staff.

Horrible decision making at 0:30. They play man-to-man cover one so there are more people in the box and that helps with pass rushing. Quarterback is under pressure and once he Ducks out of the pressure he just lobs it up where the free safety can get it over the middle. I don't understand how a quarterback can make that kind of mental mistake.

The guy has the brain to find the safe throw and was able to make the right reads. On his first int he didnt look at the coverage because he was trying to avoid a sack but knew his wr was out there if he knew the second safety was maybe he makes a different read. Also if the safety wasnt its a huge gain. He got caught in a robber scheme the second one and he cant be perfect, but he did well enough it's a shame he didn't get s better chance in the nfl. Tanner Gonnoreha 💀💀 to your super bowl dreams huh.....first of all. Dallas doesn’t even have a talented team to make the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP and actually compete or the Super Bowl. When the season starts Dallas fans shouldn’t even or ever think about the super bowl. You can’t expect to be great with a mediocre QB under center. But since everyone’s on daks dick anywhere in Texas they won’t make a much needed change. Dak isn’t the answer. Pick up a real winner like Nick Foles and you guys might have a chance....MIGHT. then the defense isn’t anything special. The only bright spots are Leighton,Jaylon, and Demarcus. And yes those are great and phenomenal players but that’s not enough. Sean Lee is decent but it’s time for him.....1000% it’s time for him to retire. Every. Fucking. Year. He gets hurt for an extended amount of time and it really surprises me people in Dallas still love him the way they do there. He’s not productive anymore. Then that secondary has to change if you guys want to go anywhere. Pickup Earl Thomas and get rid of sorry ass Jeff Heath, he’s fucking trash. Keep Byron as he’s pretty good but get rid of Chidobe, I get he was a first rounder but you can’t tell me he doesn’t get burnt on the regular. If there was some way the cowboys could do all of this, cut some of their players and sign better ones. (Earl Thomas, Kenny Clark, CJ Mosley, a lot of others) but they can’t 😐due to their financial situation. Their stellar, A+, number 1 in the league. But doesn’t it suck when you love a team so much (which I’m not a cowboy fan) and their bright spot on offense.......😶is the fucking offensive line. The cowboys can’t go out an get anybody....not with all that money going to the O line to protect, guess who. The most overrated/mediocre QB in this league behind Joe Flacco that is for that title, Dak Prescott.

He was a good qb just had a awful receiver core. And no time to get in sink with wr. If they would of given him more time he would of been a pretty good starter.

He's a very intelligent, accurate QB who, yes, made some mistakes when thrown into the mix at the end of that season for Dallas. Given an offseason with first-team reps, and learning a system for a little while, he could start for several teams in the league. Not the next Tom Brady or anything, but I feel he was never given a full shot. If his 2016 hadn't been lost before it started, he might have exceeded some expectations.

Lmao wow & they talked shit about Dak benefiting off the weapons around him when he had a great rookie season. Moore & Weeden couldn't get it done with that offensive line. Since Dak been the starting qb for Dallas he's had a winning record. 14&2 , 9&7, 10&6; not bad for a young qb in his first 3 years.
