I wish you would've shown the glow in the dark on camera. One question, do they glow after being exposed to any light, or does it have to be sunlight or UV? I've been looking everywhere for a glow in the dark gel polish that isn't UV charged, one that I can just shine my phone flashlight on and they'll glow. I hope that makes sense.

This is kinda tempting me and those little pots are kinda cute. So that one gel pot, the pale pink with the orange and blue totally reminds me of the sinful colors donut even. Like the shades just look so similar to me, am I crazy?

for me personally (a nail polish wearer), full on gel polish mani is wayyyyy too thick, so I would just wear regular nail polish with two coats of gel top coat (from sally’s, I really like how thin it is). Just my opinion though

I actually really like gel! I had only used reg polish for a few years, but I got some gel polish back in December and I was hooked haha I recommend starting with the le mini macaron gel polish kits because that’s what I started with and it was super simple to figure out! Hope this helps 😊
@sarahrambhatla92574 жыл бұрын
Please try out gel!!! It is so much quicker because you just cure it don’t have to let it dry. And it’s wayyy cheaper which I didn’t know until I researched. Search up beetles gel polish (it’s my favorite but modelones, morovan, and a few others are great). You can get like a bottle for 2 dollars in a lot of big sets. The mani also lasts longer and feels stronger. I’m never going back to regular polishes lol! But it’s honestly just preference.

I really loved gel. But unfortunately I developed an allergy to gel polish. I would still be using gel if I didn't have this allergy though. Regular nail polish doesn't last long on me. It doesn't even chip, the whole nail just lifts off like I have a peal on base coat but I don't use one. Gel polish lasted me for weeks.

An easy way to get media in another language is watching things like Disney movies in your target language since you already know the plot. Turning on captions can also help you understand what's being said. That being said, I've noticed the Spanish captions on Disney+ tend to be translations of the English script rather than what's being said in Spanish, but I still appreciate it. Definitely have to get some of those gel pots, love the video!

It’s best to clean your gel brushes with alcohol rather than acetone as the acetone will deteriorate the brush over time. Alcohol is typically the main ingredient in gel residue wipe off solutions.

@calichef19624 жыл бұрын
I saw gel polish, and I was HERE FOR IT!!! I ADORE gel polish, and I don't even bother with "regular" nail polish anymore. I simply don't have the patience! BTW, you can use those freakishly long nail tips as practice tips, which would alleviate a LOT of wear and tear on your own nails. They are really good for nail art practice because they are three or four times (at least!) larger than your own nails. If art is too hard to put on one of those GIANT nail tips, there is no way you'd be able to put it on your own nails. Also, you can prolong the life of your gel brush if you clean the gel out of it with alcohol rather than acetone. Gel polishes (while wet) are meant to be cleaned up with alcohol, not acetone, which is used only for removing CURED gel polish from natural nails. Acrylic nail wearers usually file the gel polish off because soaking in acetone would also remove their acrylic nail extensions. Also, if you DO wear those huge tips for Halloween, DO "glue" them on using either clear or cover pink builder gel, or you can use a little bit of hybrid gel, like Madam Glam's iconic Polygel, but any brand will work and be relatively easy to soak off. Nail glue is damaging to your natural nails, is very unpredictable, and you'll (likely) be dropping nails all the way through your Halloween festivities. If you want to know how to use builder gel as "glue" for full-cover nail tips, go watch any of Max Estrada's 123 Go! product videos. I like his products, but I'm not a fan of the "candy" scent. I think it stinks.

I have 8 gel pot colors and I ADORE THEM! Got them with my very first Modelones poly gel kit 😊 4 cremes, 3 glitters, and 1 thermal glitter! You can paint designs and details so easily. Plus, because they are so pigmented, they are thick, don't run all over the nails, and you can layer them easily without too much bulk!

I wish I could still wear gel polish. I like my nails long, and man did they long when I wore gel polish. But the contact dermatitis I get from the gel allergy is so bad I feel itchy just thinking about wearing gel. My advice to anyone using gel polish - If you get it on your skin wash your hands/clean it off with rubbing alcohol ASAP do not hesitate to clean it off! The longer uncured gel remains on your skin the more likely you are to develop the dreaded allergy and trust me you do NOT want this allergy. Also be sure you are properly curing the gels as well.

You can do way more interesting & intricate designs too. Haven't you ever seen the Sound of Music though, Kelli? I've a personal project to hunt up the original arrangement _auf deutſch_ for a pop-album contingency.

@@BCSchmerker maybe this information is helpful for you then. All rights for music titles and the money for artists played on radio etc is handled by one company in Germany. I assume as this is a German title they either handle the rights or can help you who does. This company is gema in Berlin. So you may contact gema and ask them who owns the legal rights of this piece of music. No matter how long ago the music was created there is some fee you need to pay. The grand grand grandchildren of the composer earn some money then. If you just use a title without having the legal rights to do there will be trouble and they can sue you.

Great video! 😋🥰 just a tip though, you should never clean gel brushes with any kind of liquid, the bristles will dry out and eventually become frayed and really hard to work with. You should really just clean it with any kind of clear gel until the color comes out, then just wipe it carefully between a lint free wipe and store it. There should always be a little bit of gel left on the brush to help it maintain its shape and flexibility. And the long tips are for doing nail art on, they're not meant to be used as press ons, although you could use them that way if you want but they're not meant for that 😆 that's all I wanted to say, have a lovely weekend! 🥰🌸
