"OK's" were introduced in the fall of 1959, with "Big Otis" on the box. However, sales weren't that great....and Kellogg's decided to use Yogi in 1960 to "help" Big Otis (played by Hal Baylor in these commercials) and his "pitches" for them. By the end of the year, Yogi replaced Big Otis on the box.....

As I recall,at first there were Big Otis/Yogi Bear team-ups,then ads(and OKs boxes)with Yogi dressed as Big Otis..and finally just Yogi on the box. OKs were in the Kelloggs snack-packs years after the cereal vanished from the stores.
